Fantasy Football Stock Watch For All 32 NFL Teams
Arizona Cardinals: Trey Benson 📈
Trey Benson spent the summer circled by fantasy managers, but August has been a turbulent ride for anyone trying to pin down this role in the Cardinals offense. Kyler Murray injected some life into those who are banking on a Benson breakout, pushing his ADP back up to 3.5 spots on Underdog.
Atlanta Falcons: Darnell Mooney 📉
Darnell Mooney is currently working his way back from a shoulder injury suffered in late July. Raheem Morris’ ambiguous comments regarding his potential return by Week 1 quickly sent Mooney’s ADP tumbling. QB Michael Penix Jr. had a much more positive outlook, which could quickly turn the tide of Mooney’s slide.
Baltimore Ravens: Keaton Mitchell 📈
Keaton Mitchell is making waves in fantasy circles. In his first preseason action, the Ravens’ RB3 flashed his explosiveness from 2023 when he averaged 8.4 yards per carry over eight games. Mitchell’s ADP is now as high 170 overall (ESPN) as fantasy managers are buying into handcuffing him with Derrick Henry.
Buffalo Bills: Keon Coleman 🚀
Josh Allen could use a breakout receiver, and Keon Coleman profiles as a player who could make that leap after the underwhelming rookie season. Coleman’s camp buzz, coupled with the Khalil Shakir high-ankle sprain, makes him a high-upside target with double-digit touchdown potential at the consensus ADP of 117.1.
Carolina Panthers: Jalen Coker 📈
Jalen Coker continues to climb up draftboards despite resting through Carolina’s preseason game with an illness. The popular sleeper option surged 12.5 spots, moving his ADP into the Top 200 on Underdog. Xavier Legette got some cardio in (0 targets), but failed to further separate himself as Carolina’s current WR2. The camp battle wages on
Chicago Bears: Caleb Williams 😎
If anyone in Chicago was bearish on Ben Johnson’s ability to bring along Caleb Williams, Sunday’s 38-0 win over the Bills probably has them a bit more excited. I know—it’s ONLY PRESEASON —but if we can get excited about Jaxson Dart, we can believe the Bears are finally going to fill our Sundays with an exciting offense.
Williams looked sharp, orchestrating a 92-yard opening drive capped off by a 36-yard touchdown to Olamide Zaccheaus. His ADP is already climbing on ESPN and CBS, leapfrogging fellow QB’s Justin Herbert and Drake Maye.
Cincinnati Bengals: Chase Brown
Chase Brown’s ADP is experiencing a slight uptick in ESPN, CBS and Yahoo leagues since the release of Zack Moss.
The real story in Cincinnati is the real chance that Trey Hendrickson’s contract situation results in a trade. Losing Hendrickson will cripple the Bengals’ defense, adding more urgency for Joe Burrow and the boys to attempt to topple the video game numbers they posted last year.
Back to Brown, keep an eye on Tahj Brooks. He is likely to receive a bump across the board as a solid handcuff option late in drafts.
Cleveland Browns: Quinshon Judkins
Avid readers of the Fantasy Life newsletter already know that the Browns’ projected RB1 isn’t likely to see the field until October, more than likely. That makes him a hard no in Guillotine LeaguesTM. Still unsigned, Judkins remains extremely risky until he puts pen to paper. History has not been kind to running backs who miss training camp and/or part of the season.
In ESPN leagues, Judkins appears to have surged back up (+25.9) after bottoming out. Keep in mind, he is still slotted as RB34, with an ESPN ADP (119.9) that is 20 spots below the consensus (98.2).
Dallas Cowboys: George Pickens 📈
George Pickens continues to inch up draft boards across all formats. He is in prime position to take advantage of playing alongside CeeDee Lamb in a high-octane offense that is without a solid backfield to command carries.
Ian Hartitz believes this perfect storm for Pickens makes him a must have, ahead of DJ Moore and DeVonta Smith. The Cowboys' WR2 doesn’t come without some risk, but he also could be a steal as the consensus WR27.
Denver Broncos: RJ Harvey 📈
Harvey’s value is a bit hamstrung with the presence of J.K. Dobbins, along with Sean Payton’s affinity for the RBBC approach. However, a solid camp has RJ Harvey in a good spot to take the lead role, and his ADP is reflecting it. Harvey’s consensus ADP sits at 61.1 right behind the Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson.
Detroit Lions: Sam LaPorta 📉
Not much going on in Motown. Although, Dan Campbell is probably foaming at the mouth waiting for the games to become more meaningful.
TE Sam LaPorta slid 10 spots in CBS leagues, which likely has nothing to do with Sam LaPorta. The slight volatility is likely a byproduct of guys like T.J. Hockenson, Tyler Warren, and David Njoku enjoying some steam. LaPorta remains a consensus Top-5 TE.
Green Bay Packers: Matthew Golden
Golden’s upward trajectory has been fueled by a strong camp coupled with a wide receiver room lacking a true WR1. He is now being drafted inside the Top 100 on Sleeper (95.1), RTSports (86.7), and Underdog (70.4).
However, in case you haven’t heard, the boot is now OFF. Packers third-year wide receiver Jayden Reed (ADP 104.8; consensus) could be healthy to start the season. Reed is a player Dwain McFarland highlighted as a breakout candidate who is being underdrafted.
Houston Texans: Christian Kirk
Christian Kirk came down with both of his targets on Saturday for 13 yards. Light work, but the former Jaguar appears to have cemented himself as the WR2 to start the season. That’s all it took for him to jump 10 spots in CBS leagues, and his ADP to climb to 131.5 on Yahoo!
There are a pair of young wideouts—Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel—who will eventually push him for playing time. Both should be on your dynasty watch-list.
Indianapolis Colts: Tyler Warren 🚀
The big story in Indianapolis is the Anthony Richardson-Daniel Jones competition that, as of Tuesday morning has wrapped up, with Jones being named as the Week 1 starter. Now, the real value with the Colts will be the tight end catching the passes. Warren was targeted three times on Saturday, hauling in a 25-yard reception. He has a real chance to lead the team in targets. Warren’s consensus ADP (110.1) has him going off the board prior to Michael Pittman Jr. (117.1)
Jacksonville Jaguars: Cam Little 🦿
Your kids claim it was AI. Real ones know he is the 70-yard field goal guy. Who wouldn’t want him on their fantasy team? Little is up big everywhere. He’s going as high as 127.7 on Yahoo!
Kansas City Chiefs: Rashee Rice 🎢
Who needs to skydive when you can just draft Rashee Rice? I went from expecting Rice to be suspended the first 4-to-6 games, to learning his disciplinary hearing wouldn’t occur until Sept. 30, to seeing reports his suspension could cover most of the season. Settlement pending, the Ricecoaster ride appears to have more steep drops ahead, and it’s reflected in the free fall of his ADP (87.6; CBS).
Las Vegas Raiders: Jack Bech 📉
Jack Bech’s ADP has tumbled after Dont’e Thornton Jr. was penciled in the depth chart alongside Jakobi Meyers. Bech responded with a good week of practice, but failed to make a splash (2 receptions, 21 yards) in the Raiders' second preseason game.
In an offense with Ashton Jeanty, Brock Bowers, and Meyers, it’s hard to see the rookie battling back into fantasy relevance anytime soon.
Bech’s current ADP has dropped to 200.8 on Underdog.
Los Angeles Chargers: Keenan Allen
Keenan Allen’s return to the Bolts incinerated Quentin Johnston’s value. QJ's ADP is now sub-200 in Sleeper drafts. You know what you get with the crafty, zone-melting veteran. Allen will fill the role of a reliable target for Justin Herbert while hoarding target share from Tre Harris and the aforementioned Johnston. Allen’s ADP has expectedly risen rapidly 20+ spots on all the sites you would expect (ESPN, CBS, Underdog, superflex).
Los Angeles Rams: Matthew Stafford
Everything in LA falls on the back of Matthew Stafford and whether the Rams QB can stay healthy. Both Puka Nacua and Davante Adams saw slight dips in their ADP, but Stafford is the real linchpin who can hold their production in place. In terms of ADP, Stafford’s volatility is causing chaos in the fantasy space, dropping 20+ spots in Sleeper drafts (205.9) while rising 12.4 at CBS (128.4). Enjoy the ride.
Miami Dolphins: De’Von Achane 😳
Is Hard Rock Stadium haunted or is it just me? The vibes are just getting worse in Miami. As if De'Von Achane getting called out for the team’s short-yardage struggles wasn’t enough, the Dolphins' RB1 is now sidelined with a soft-tissue injury. The murky reports have delayed any significant impact to his ADP, and Jaylen Wright’s 4 carries for 3 yards won’t move the needle, either.
Achane’s status is a must-monitor. Also, RB Ollie Gordon continued to push for the RB2 job by posting 50 yards on 10 carries. Another strong performance in the preseason finale should have Gordon’s value on the move.
Minnesota Vikings: T.J. Hockenson 📈
When a door closes, always focus on what’s opening next.
Jordan Addison’s three-game suspension crushed his ADP (111.5; ESPN). He’s all but dead to anyone drafting in Guillotines LeaguesTM.
The ball has to go to somebody besides Justin Jefferson. That’s where it all opens up for T.J. Hockenson. The Vikings TE is the expected beneficiary of those targets early in the season. Hockenson is now going as high as 59 overall in Yahoo! Leagues.
New England Patriots: TreVeyon Henderson 🚀
TreVeyon Henderson got every fantasy manager's attention by exploding on the scene with a 100-yard kickoff return in his NFL debut. The encore against the Viking wasn’t as flashy, but the former Buckeye still scampered for 20 yards on four carries. Usage is not a concern considering his home run ability and how thirsty the Pats have been for a playmaker on offense.
Everyone continues to be all-in on Henderson, but his price is escalating fast (48.1; Underdog). Dwain McFarland detailed why he considers him as a potential league winner, but you need to act now.
New Orleans Saints: Rashid Shaheed
We know Rashid Shaheed can make plays when given the opportunity. With the Saints' win total at O/U 4.5 games, he should have plenty of chances as long as he can stay healthy. The versatile deep threat averaged 58.16 receiving yards per game in a six-game stint. The per-game average puts him in company with Jordan Addison and DJ Moore.
That’s not bad for a player who can still be had in the 140 overall range.
New York Giants: Jaxson Dart
Did Big Blue find themselves a legitimate fantasy QB of the future? Dart completed 13 consecutive passes as he finished 14-of-16 for 137 yards and 1 TD vs. the Jets. That puts Dart’s overall preseason numbers in Brandon Weedon territory (I got jokes)! Truth be told, Dart’s impressive preseason has put him on the map in superflex leagues, where his ADP has rocketed up 18.4 spots.
New York Jets: Braelon Allen 🧨
The Jets' backfield situation has quickly accelerated from Braelon Allen being a nuisance to Breece Hall’s production to him being the prize target among Jets’ running backs. His performance on Saturday, 92 total yards including 48 as a receiver, should keep pressure on the Jets to pave a way for what Albert Breer considers a "monster year." Despite the hype, Allen still has huge upside for a player going in the RB50 range.
Philadelphia Eagles: Will Shipley
The Eagles rested Will Shipley along with the majority of their key players this weekend against the Browns. Shipley’s ADP continues to trickle upward as it becomes more apparent he will operate in the RB2 role behind OPOY Saquon Barkley. His consensus ADP comes in at 187.5 while going as high as 169.9 in ESPN drafts.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Kaleb Johnson
The running back battle in Pittsburgh took a pivotal turn when ESPN’s Brooke Pryor shed some light on why Warren’s pass-catching ability gives the veteran a leg up early in the season.
Johnson had a solid day at the office Saturday against the Bucs. The rookie from Iowa toted the rock 11 times for 50 yards.
In ESPN leagues, the ADP of the two Steelers running backs are only separated by four spots after Johnson dropped (-14.6) to an ADP of 103.1. Warren shot up 7.3 spots to 107.4.
Regardless of who wins the battle, the war may never end. This situation screams season-long committee.
San Francisco 49ers: Ricky Pearsall 📈
Ricky Pearsall is locking in while Jauan Jennings misses time with a calf injury/contract dispute. Pearsall hauled in three catches for 42 yards on four targets against the Raiders. The 2024 first-round pick is in line to be a major contributor to Kyle Shanahan’s offense.
A 25-spot jump in CBS leagues has Pearsall coveted ahead of Jennings in our consensus ADP rankings. Currently listed as WR41, the 49ers’ WR has serious breakout potential.
Seattle Seahawks: Tory Horton 🚀
So many ascending Seahawks, so little time. Zach Charbonnet, Damien Martinez, and Jake Bobo are just a few standouts from the 33-16 “Greatest Show in Preseason" win over the Chiefs. All kidding aside, Klint Kubiak and Sam Darnold may very well cook defenses when the games count.
Don’t let that distract from the guy you should have your eyes glued to: WR Tory Horton. The fifth-round pick enjoyed a massive spike in his ADP (+25.1; Underdog) to surpass Marquez Valdes-Scantling on draft boards as well the depth chart. For more on Horton, I touched on why he should be on your dynasty radar in our fantasy football roundtable.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Emeka Egbuka 📈
Chris Godwin’s pesky ankle has allowed Egbuka to showcase the talent that drove Tampa Bay to draft him with the 19th overall pick. Egbuka has received praise from QB Baker Mayfield from the jump, and the elite body control displayed on his first NFL touchdown proved his readiness to make an immediate impact.
The secret has long been out on Egbuka. However, his value will continue to rise until Godwin gets positive news.
Tennessee Titans: Tyjae Spears 📉
Tyjae Spears' inability to stay healthy has earned him a sub-150 overall ADP in CBS leagues. He has dropped across the board after a high-ankle sprain put Tony Pollard in position to carry the load for at least the first few games.
Washington Commanders: Jacory Croskey-Merritt 🧨
Washington is our nation’s capital. It’s also home to the Jacory Croskey-Merritt show.
Word has leaked that Washington is shopping Brian Robinson Jr. hard, carving out a path for Croskey-Merritt to see significant touches in the Commanders’ offense. JCM is a must-monitor player and a potential steal as his current ADP (183.8). He’s up 32 spots in Sleeper leagues and 16 in superflex.
