We’re back with one more round of dynasty-related questions, pulled straight from the Fantasy Life Community Discord.

Dynasty Fantasy Football Mailbag, Final Offseason Edition

What are you doing about Josh Jacobs? Buy low? Selling all shares and abandoning ship?

I've been vocally and adamantly against rostering Josh Jacobs in any format for the last couple of months. I simply don’t want him on my teams.

Now that he's been placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List and the Packers started adding reinforcements via Kaleb Johnson and possibly others yet to come, there's a very real chance that Jacobs is out most, if not all, of the season. He’ll turn 29 next offseason and already has the second-most career touches of any running back. Any way you look at it, this is a bad situation.

Frankly, try to get whatever value you can and walk away. And then stay away.

I roster MarShawn Lloyd in a very deep league (24 teams). I’m probably not a contender this year, but we’re getting there! Should I be trying to flip him? What would be your price to move him right now?

I've been slowly moving closer to the front of the MarShawn Lloyd hype train over the summer. A couple months ago I suggested sending some "wee offers" for Lloyd because folks had largely written him off. Those wee offers must now balloon in size.

In such a deep league, a possible starting RB becomes extremely valuable. But if you don't feel you're ready to contend this season, then I'd want a first-round pick in the deal to move him. Now, don’t get me wrong, I doubt anyone’s giving you a first straight up. You’ll need to add something to the Lloyd side to get it done.

But his injury history combined with Kaleb Johnson's untapped potential makes me weary of trusting Lloyd for the long haul.

Of the younger options at tight end in a dynasty startup, who are we targeting? Once we get through the obvious options of McBride, Bowers, Loveland and Warren …

I think Tucker Kraft (25) deserves to be in the conversation with those guys. Before his injury, Kraft was checking every box you could possibly want in a long-term fantasy tight end.

Harold Fannin (22) has more question marks but a similarly high ceiling to the group you mentioned.

Later in your draft, Brenton Strange (25) isn’t as flashy, but could be a reliable target for Trevor Lawrence for years to come.

Also … everyone besides Mom and Pop Dulcich must be tired of me shoehorning their son into these articles, but I once again have to posit Greg Dulcich (26) as a late-round target. He's the same age as McBride and if we can finally get a full season of this man? Hoo boy. His value could skyrocket.

As a Raiders fan, what are your thoughts on the dynasty value of our super awesome WR room?

One of my teachers growing up told me that if I didn't have anything nice to say I shouldn't say anything at all. But that teacher turned out to be kind of a dick, so what the hell ...

I think those WRs will be valuable blockers for your true receiving weapons, Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer. Occasionally, one of them will catch a pass and we’ll all remember “oh right, that guy’s on the team.” But hey, if you want to throw out third/fourth-round picks to get them all on your roster and see where the roulette wheel stops, feel free!

How do you deal with unresponsive managers? Especially those you want to make trade negotiations with?

The commissioner could have a chat with them, I suppose. But if they paid their annual dues they can play the game however they like. As frustrating as it might be for others.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is just let go. We can't force our leaguemates to be more active or responsive. But we CAN and SHOULD make sure we don't leave any lingering trade offers sitting out there too long. The worst thing is when that usually unresponsive manager suddenly awakens to accept that trade you sent weeks ago for a now-injured player …

Who's your guy you gotta have for each position in a dynasty startup this year?

Based on their current startup ADPs:

QB: Jalen Hurts. Just another year of Hurts being unfairly maligned by the dynasty community.

RB: There’s never a “gotta have” RB for me, but I’ll choose Kenneth Walker if I’m feeling spendy for once.

WR: Garrett Wilson. Please stop underrating this man.

TE: Tucker Kraft. Seriously. This guy is a beast.
