The Raiders entered free agency with the most effective cap space in the NFL ($95.6 million), and they aggressively used that war chest to set the table for Mendoza’s arrival.

I think Reese makes the most sense at No. 2 because of the upside and because of sort of like hybrid duality flexibility that he gives the defense.

The Raiders need a quarterback, and if they want the most polished one in this draft, the guy with the highest floor, then it is Mendoza
