Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings: Tucker Kraft Rises Amidst Positive Health Reports

Sam Wallace profiles four TEs who are rising up his dynasty fantasy football rankings ahead of the 2026 season.

In my latest dynasty fantasy football rankings update, I spent some extra time focusing on the tight end position. The four players below have been moving up the TE rankings for dynasty, and it's time to dive into why.

Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings Update - The TEs

  • Dynasty Ranking: TE3

It brings me little joy as a Packers fan to kick off this latest rankings update with Colston Loveland, but the dude is a certified stud and is only going to get better. Like many young TEs, Loveland had a tale of two seasons in his inaugural campaign. Drafted 10th overall by the Bears, he didn't reach double-digit PPR in any game until Week 9.

However, from Weeks 9-18, he was an absolute monster:

  • 15.2 PPG
  • 6 TDs

Also, as much as I'd like to forget it, he torched Green Bay in the playoffs to the tune of 8/137 on a whopping 15 targets. In a Ben Johnson-led offense with a talented QB in Caleb Williams, Loveland has all the makings of an elite asset who is here to stay. While he's currently my TE3 in dynasty formats, I would have no issue putting him up another notch.

The only thing keeping him out of the top spot is how consolidated the Cardinals' offense is. Nearly everything will run through Trey McBride. Chicago is flush with talented pass catchers at every skill position. Regardless, Loveland is about as safe as they come at the position, and he carries week-winning upside.

Heading into Year 2, here's how we project the Bears' passing attack:

Four different players could push for north of 200 fantasy points (PPR), and there's Loveland, right in the thick of it. He'll easily push for the team lead in targets, receptions, receiving yards and receiving TDs in his sophomore season.

  • Dynasty Ranking: TE4

The other highly-rated, highly-drafted (14th overall) Big 10 TE to enter the league last season was Tyler Warren. Snagged by the Colts just a few picks after Loveland went off the board, Warren significantly topped Loveland in nearly every major receiving category.

Targets

  • Warren - 112
  • Loveland - 82

Receptions

  • Warren - 76
  • Loveland - 58

Receiving Yards

  • Warren - 817
  • Loveland - 713

Receiving TDs

  • Warren - 4
  • Loveland - 6

Total PPR

  • Warren - 188
  • Loveland - 165

Another great tool to use is our Player Comparison Tool found in our Utilization Report. Warren posted a clean sweep of every category (if only just barely) over Loveland in their respective rookie seasons.

So, with all that, why do I have Warren one slot behind Loveland? I do view them as being in the same tier, so I would be fine with either player on my roster, but I do have more faith in the Bears offense as a whole compared to the Colts. Yes, the Colts no longer have Michael Pittman, which frees up 111 targets from last year, but the Bears countered by letting DJ Moore and his 85 targets from a year ago go.

Both of these TEs are primed to be cornerstone dynasty assets for the foreseeable future. The torch has officially been passed to the next generation of TEs, so if you manage to secure either of these guys, your TE position is set for a long, long time.

  • Dynasty Ranking: TE6

You know I had to find a way to squeeze Tucker Kraft into this column. After a mini-breakout season back in 2024, Kraft was well on his way to going nuclear in his third season (2025). Unfortunately, a torn ACL cut last year short, but there are plenty of things to get excited about for the Green and Gold.

Over his first seven games, before getting injured in his eighth game, here were his averages:

  • 16.2 PPG
  • 5.9 targets
  • 67 receiving yards
  • 6 total TDs

The Packers have notoriously not had a true No. 1 target since the days of Davante Adams, but it's looking like the target distribution is going to get condensed this season. That would mean great things for fantasy managers who roster guys like Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden.

Kraft's offseason recovery appears to be going well. Of course, everyone is always ahead of schedule and feeling great, so we need to take that with a grain of salt. At the same time, Kraft himself said he's optimistic about playing without any snap-count restrictions come Week 1. The Packers have historically been cautious with injuries to their star players, but I am (perhaps biasedly) confident in Kraft having an excellent 2026 campaign.

The middle tiers of TEs are always tricky to evaluate. Traditionally, if you want an elite option, you need to draft one early. If you don't snag a top-end asset, it's generally best to wait until the later portions of the draft and get one then. However, specific to dynasty formats, Kraft would be the ideal "consolation" prize if you miss on a McBride or Brock Bowers.

  • Dynasty Ranking: TE7

The TE3 from our 2025 Rookie TE Super Model (behind both Loveland and Warren) is none other than Harold Fannin. He was the sixth TE drafted in his class but has cemented himself as the third-best option among his fellow classmates.

Even working alongside David Njoku, who only appeared in 12 games, Fannin delivered in a big way during his rookie campaign. His 107 targets led the team (Jerry Jeudy had 106), as did his 731 receiving yards and six TDs.

While it remains to be seen who the starting QB is for the Browns this season, Fannin is going to compete for the role of being the No. 1 target in this passing attack. This offseason, the Browns let Njoku walk and added wideouts KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston via the NFL Draft. While Jeudy is still in town, we project Fannin to finish within two points of Concepcion in PPR scoring this upcoming season.

He's young, talented and has a locked-in role on an offense desperate for playmakers. Fannin is a solid dynasty asset and should remain so for years to come.
