Fantasy Football Mock Draft On Yahoo From Early Position (Picks 1-4)

Super Hero RB builds are not easy on Yahoo from early positions. If you don't get lucky with an RB faller, the best way to get two RBs in the first three rounds is with an RB-WR-RB start. Let's take advantage of the AJ Brown discount in Round 2 from this spot.

In the Super Hero RB build, I snuck Tyler Warren in in Round 5 to see how that felt. It isn't terrible, but I passed on Burden. Here is how those builds would differ:

• Current: Warren, Washington, Lloyd, Godwin
• Alternate: Burden, Washington, Kittle, Mason

I slightly favored the Lloyd build. Note that in this build I also secured Tyler Allgeier for Week 1 in case Love is out.

The other option is to snag your elite TE here given the inflated prices on non-elite options plus the fact that Loveland does not fall back to this range.

You can see how much tighter the need is to thread on Yahoo from early positions. That is why you don't see a bunch of different names in each round. We have pretty specific targets, which can become fragile if we get sniped. If you are drafting on Yahoo, I think it's a must to mock multiple scenarios.

The middle positions provide more breathing room than early on Yahoo.

Drafting from a late position on Yahoo offers multiple favorable draft paths. Grabbing Loveland in early Round 4 is a key strategy. Starting RB-RB-RB also works out well with Kittle going at the end of Round 7. And you can swing away at WR through Round 11 with a quick detour for QB in Round 9 or 10.
