Jadarian Price Starting Slow For Fantasy Football?

Jadarian Price Starting Slow For Fantasy Football?

In today's Fantasy Life Newsletter, presented by Xfinity, potential slow start for Jadarian Price, RB Rookie Super Model Update and NFL Draft Grades.

We just can’t have nice things, apparently.

Almost every single landing spot for this 2026 rookie class was less than ideal (and that’s putting it kindly).

There was one perfect landing spot, though—an absolute chef’s kiss for fantasy goodness—and that was RB Jadarian Price to the Seattle Seahawks.

The Super Bowl MVP is gone, Zach Charbonnet is recovering from a rough injury and the rest of the backs on the roster are essentially Madden NPCs. Sure, Seattle panicked and overpaid, but that’s their problem, not ours.

Price has (rightfully) been one of the biggest post-draft risers—his ADP jumped from 110 to the 60s in just a few days.

Of course, all that hype came to a screeching halt yesterday when Jeremy Fowler reported that Seattle isn’t interested in deploying Price as a “bell cow” right away.

You can certainly handwave this as a nothingburger blurb (the sourcing on the nugget is pretty ambiguous), but it will be concerning if Price doesn’t deliver some immediate value out of the gate.

We know Charbs is going to have a role when he returns, so ideally we want Price to flash immediately and force the coaching staff into letting the hot hand cook the rest of the year.

Ultimately, this comes down to cost. If he shoots into Round 5 like RJ Harvey and TreVeyon Henderson did last year, we will need immediate production from him. If he settles a few rounds below that, we can survive some early-season hiccups.

The Rookie Super Model viewed Price as overrated, so there’s plenty of risk here …but it’s impossible to deny the upside of a lead back in this potent rushing attack.

Years Of Guarantees With Josh Allen

If you’ve had Josh Allen in fantasy any year since 2020, you’ve been more than happy. He’s been the QB1 five times in that span, the only year he didn’t finish up top being 2022 when he fell all the way to QB2. He just finished his followup to his 2024 NFL MVP season with 3,668 passing yards and 25 TDs, adding 579 rushing yards and 14 more scores on the ground. Betting against him continuing his fantasy dominance for another five years would be ill-advised.

That’s exactly what the Xfinity 5-Year Price Guarantee means for your wallet: 5 years. The same price. No contracts or commitments. Just peace of mind knowing your connection, and your cost, will go the distance. Sports can be unpredictable, but your internet price doesn’t have to be. Rookie Super Model Post-Draft Update

For 10 seasons now, Dwain McFarland and the Rookie Super Model have delivered some of the best analytical overviews with a great hit rate in predicting future fantasy success. One of the most important factors is the last input: draft capital. So with the NFL Draft in the books, it’s time to update the model. And for the running backs, let’s check in on how high the No. 3 overall pick of the Arizona Cardinals finished.

Jeremiyah Love: The Rookie Super Model rates Love as an early Round 1 NFL Draft pick. His Production Rating isn't as strong as past top-12 picks, but he improved every season and notched strong numbers at a young age. He is electric with the ball in his hands and has the size-speed combo to play every down and create field-flipping plays. His Film Rating suggests unrealized upside as a receiver, which could send him to the superstar stratosphere in fantasy football. Love is a high-end RB1 long-term, even on an offense with short-term QB questions like the Cardinals. ⬇️
