So, over the last few months, I have been hinting at some fun announcements coming that I think you’ll like, and yesterday, one of them dropped

Starting this coming Monday, Sept. 28, at Noon ET on the Roku Channel, Pregame with Matthew Berry will start airing. I’m gonna write a lot more about this next week, but it’s a two-hour show that’s half fantasy football and half general sports talk/pop culture/interviews/nonsense. You know. A Matthew Berry show. Here’s the official release from Roku.

And because everyone either has a Roku TV or the Roku Channel on their TV (or can download it for free) … everyone can see the show. Roku Channel is free, so don’t worry about paywalls. As you know, if you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know ownership, creative freedom, and entrepreneurship have been important to me, and many of the moves I have made in my career have been influenced by that desire. This opportunity with this show and the Roku Channel epitomizes that, as the show is owned and produced by Fantasy Life. Can’t wait to get started.

And as long as we are doing plugs, a reminder that every Sunday morning I do Fantasy Football Happy Hour: Last Call at Noon ET with Alex Cupps on my YouTube channel ... come and get your questions answered. And, finally, you can get access to everything we have to offer at Fantasy Life with a FantasyLife+ subscription. That means my rankings—completely customized to fit YOUR leagues—projections, league sync, our waiver wire tool, Dwain McFarland's world-renowned Utilization Report, our start/sit tool and much, much more. Your league is unique, so we made sure your advice is, too. Plus, you can get 10% off with code BERRY.

But before you do, you need to read this. Because these are …

10 Facts You Need to Know Before Week 3 Fantasy Football

  1. In each of his last four starts (dating back to last year), Tyler Shough has scored at least 20 fantasy points
    1. And in his last eight, he’s had at least 17 points in each.
    2. In fact, since Week 10 of last season, Shough ranks as the QB5 in PPG.
    3. Somehow, Shough is still available in over 40% of Yahoo leagues.

  2. After Rhamondre Stevenson lost a first-quarter fumble against the Steelers last week, TreVeyon Henderson led the Patriots backfield with a 65% snap rate and out-touched Stevenson 16 to 5 over the remainder of the game.
    1. Not a fact, but I’m sneaking an opinion in here. Look, for sure, the outlook for Henderson is certainly more positive now than it was before Week 1. I don’t think he’s suddenly taken over the lead role in this backfield. The team still doesn’t trust him in pass protection, and we’ve seen them go back to Stevenson in the past. The gap between them has narrowed, but I’m still ranking Stevenson ahead of Henderson in Week 3.

  3. Through 2 weeks, MarShawn Lloyd is averaging a 38% snap rate and 10.5 touches per game.
    1. Lloyd has seen the same number of red zone touches as Chris Brooks.
    2. In Week 2, he saw fewer rush attempts than Kaleb Johnson

  4. After J.K. Dobbins left the game last week, Jonah Coleman saw an 83% snap rate and handled 9 of the team’s 10 RB touches.
    1. I know Coleman is now banged up, and it looks like Dobbins and Harvey are getting healthier. I don’t care. I said it in the preseason, and I stand by it. By the second half of the season, Coleman is the Broncos RB you want.

  5. Drake London has played 12 career games with Michael Penix
    1. In those games, he’s averaging over 20 PPR points.
    2. And a 35% target share
    3. And 97 receiving yards a game.

  6. In the 10 games Terry McLaurin has played with Marcus Mariota, he’s averaging a 25% target share.
    1. And over 11 yards per target.
    2. Specific to last season, in the games that Mariota started, McLaurin averaged over 14 fantasy points.
    3. Another opinion—I wouldn’t start him this week given the matchup with Seattle, but I don’t think that the Jayden Daniels injury completely tanks McLaurin’s value.

  7. Through the first two games, the Jets' leader in targets is … Adonai Mitchell.
    1. His average depth of target during that time is over 14 yards.
    2. In Week 3, Mitchell faces a Lions secondary that has allowed the second-most yards on deep passes this season.

  8. After 2 games, Denzel Boston ranks as the WR16 in utilization score.
    1. He has a 95% route participation.
    2. He is tied for the team lead with a 21% target share.
    3. Boston is still available in over 50% of Yahoo leagues.

  9. With Nico Collins out of the lineup last week, Dalton Schultz was targeted on 30% of his routes.
    1. He finished with a team-high 28% target share
    2. In Week 3, Houston faces a Colts team that, so far this season, has allowed the fourth most yards to tight ends

  10. Since he entered the NFL, Oronde Gadsden ranks third among tight ends in yards per target.
    1. Through 2 weeks, the Chargers rank top 10 in tight end target share.
    2. Earlier this week, Los Angeles placed David Njoku on IR and announced Charlie Kolar would also miss time with a forearm injury.
