Week 7 Quarterback Streamers For Fantasy Football: Look Out For CJ Stroud
Jorge Martin revealed the QB streamers for fantasy football heading into Week 7, including C.J. Stroud.
Week 7 has arrived, and for those of you who have enjoyed having Josh Allen, Trevor Lawrence and Jayden Daniels in your lineup … oof, not gonna be fun having to replace them this week. But we knew the byes were coming, and if for some reason you were not able to plan ahead, we have some options.
Let’s get into some streamers. As always with quarterbacks, we’ll mine the fantasy football rankings for players outside the top 12. Make sure to check out our fantasy football projections to get further confirmation why these players are targets. Lastly, all stats versus each position group listed below are from our wonderful DvP tool and any utilization data came from our UR Score.

Quarterback Streamers for Week 7
Geno Smith | Jets vs. Dolphins
It has been up and down this year for Geno, but here he is in a home matchup against a Miami defense that’s allowing 18.8 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks (ninth in the league). He just went on the road to New England and passed for 252-1, so he’s still got it.
The Dolphins are coming off a bye, but have still given up at least 245 yards and/or 2+ TD passes in four straight games. Geno may hit both marks.
C.J. Stroud | Texans vs. Giants
The more performances that Stroud puts up like the 312-3-1 line he dropped in the 34-31 victory over the Jaguars in London, the more people are going to push back into the memory banks those rough performances in the playoffs. Stroud is the QB12 in fantasy points per game on the season, and now he’s at home. He’s thrown for 974 yards and 5 TDs in three games under the roof in Houston.
The Giants come to town and have allowed multiple TD passes in four of six games this season. In one game where they didn’t, Jayden Daniels ran for 103 yards and 2 scores. Look for Stroud to get close to every-week starting status, or at least in a solid platoon.
Tanner McKee | Eagles vs. Cowboys (MNF)
First and foremost, all the best to Jalen Hurts on his healthy recovery from those scary blood clots. The fantasy and NFL communities are pulling for one of the good guys. McKee has been a highly regarded backup in NFL circles, and there has even been chatter about teams trying to acquire him to have him start. In Week 6, he passed for 215 yards and a score.
He’ll be home with a full week of preparation as the starter, and he’ll have the Cowboys on the other side. They are allowing 20 fantasy points per game to QBs (No. 6 in the league), and in the past two road games have allowed 347 and 276 yards, respectively. The Monday Night Football crowd will see McKee’s coming-out party. Throw a few to DeVonta Smith, por favor.
