Week 3 Guillotine Leagues™️ ADP Risers & Fallers: Patrick Mahomes Jumping Up

Jorge Martin compiled the players rising up and falling down ADP for Guillotine Leagues heading into Week 3.

While we may be on to Week 3 of the NFL season, one of the beauties of Guillotine LeaguesTM is that every week can be a new beginning, That’s because drafts are happening all season. So instead of needing 18 teams for a full-season Guillotine League, now you need just 16 teams to be playing for all the marbles in Week 17. And just lop off a team every week.

To help you out with your drafting, here are the risers and fallers in fantasy football ADP in the last week. And to help you with your research, check out our fantasy football rankings and fantasy football projections.

Week 3 Players Rising in Guillotine Leagues ADP

Patrick Mahomes | QB | KC | +23.7

ADP: 92.5

Looks like a nationally televised domination of the Colts secondary for 382 yards and 3 TDs was reason enough for Guillotine League drafters to get the QB many are putting into the GOAT conversation out of the triple-digit ADP realm. Patrick Mahomes looks BACK, and with a ground game to keep defenses playing him more honestly, he’s able to take some shots and they’re paying off. Miami will be plenty toasty after he’s done with the Dolphins secondary.

Chuba Hubbard | RB | CAR | +21.9

ADP: 47.9

This is purely a volume play after Jonathon Brooks was placed on IR, leaving Chuba Hubbard as the lone wolf in the Panthers backfield. And they’re facing the Browns after they have allowed 110 rushing yards per game to running backs thus far. D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai combined for 224 yards against the Browns in Week 1.

Rashod Bateman | WR | BAL | +43.6
ADP: 160

Rashod Bateman became a big part of the Ravens offense by necessity, drawing 9 targets and turning them into 7-88-1 last week. Zay Flowers could be out again, which would again put Bateman among Lamar Jackson’s preferred targets. The game is in Brazil, so if Flowers sits, fire him up against the Cowboys and their defense that’s allowing 31.2 fantasy points per game to WRs.

Dalton Kincaid | TE | BUF | +29.8

ADP: 74.7

It’s really been fun watching Josh Allen connecting on deep shots with Dalton Kincaid for big gains. It’s like we’ve been dreaming of that since he got drafted in the first round in 2023. After turning 14 targets into 12 catches for 225 yards and a TD in two games, he is rising up ADP and may continue to do so. The Chargers go to Buffalo, and if DJ Moore sits with a shoulder injury, Kincaid could be the top target for Allen. Stay healthy, Kincaid.

Week 3 Players Falling in Guillotine Leagues ADP

Kyler Murray | QB | MIN | -15.5

ADP: 137.6

After essentially missing the past two games with a concussion, Kyler Murray is pretty much in prove-it mode for Guillotine Leaguers. This could be a good matchup to take a chance on Murray, as the Buccaneers have allowed 492 combined passing yards and 3 TDs to Joe Burrow and Deshaun Watson.

Kenneth Gainwell | RB | TB | -18

ADP: 97.3

Looks like all that talk about Kenneth Gainwell signing a decent contract with the Bucs and Bucky Irving coming off injury was just that … talk. The action has been Gainwell drawing just 11 touches through two games, while Irving has reminded us of his sizzling closing to the 2024 season with his UR Score of 90, good for No. 6 in the league. If you’re starting Gainwell because you waited at RB, you may be feeling the blade sooner than later.

Carnell Tate | WR | TEN | -21
ADP: 102.2

It’s not you Carnell Tate, it’s your offense. The Titans did keep it close with the Eagles in a 24-20 defeat, but through two games Tate has just 65 yards on 7 catches. Looks like the offense is taking a while to gel. Try not to have him start in anything more than an emergency flex until signs of life are shown by Cam Ward and the offense.

Kyle Pitts | TE | ATL | -17.1

ADP: 111.2

Before the season, Kyle Pitts was one of the targets for people waiting at TE. With 1 catch for 15 yards through two games, that’s probably why people are starting up in-season Guillotine Leagues. There is hope, as Michael Penix is returning to the starting lineup to raise the level of competence for the Falcons. Could Pitts now be the target for drafters waiting at TE?
