What Team Will Draft Jeremiyah Love?: The Best NFL Draft Landing Spots

Joe Metz goes team by team through picks No. 3 and No. 7 to outline which team is most likely to draft Jeremiyah Love in the 2026 NFL Draft.

No prospect has been talked about more than Jeremiyah Love leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft and every conversation either starts, or ends, with the same question: What team will draft Jeremiyah Love?

There have been rumors swirling early and often tied to the blue-chip prospect, with the most recent report indicating that he will land somewhere between the No. 3 pick and the No. 7 pick. Let’s go team by team through this segment of the draft to identify what his most likely landing spot will be.

What Team Will Jeremiyah Love Get Drafted By In The 2026 NFL Draft?

As we go back and forth on where Jeremiyah Love will end up on Thursday night, it was reported on Monday morning via Adam Schefter that Love “is in play at No. 3 with Arizona”.

Because it would make all the sense in the world to trot out a backfield of Love, James Conner, Tyler Allgeier and Trey Benson, right? Save your panic.

Schefter’s report also noted that “ideally, the Cardinals would like to find a team willing to trade up so they can acquire more picks, and there have already been ‘exploratory’ calls, as one source described it, regarding the No. 3 selection.”

This outcome would make the most sense, as there have been rumblings of teams looking to move up the board (will the Cowboys trade up in the draft?). Even if the Cardinals keep the 1.03, I have a hard time seeing them take a swing on Love, despite Schefter’s report noting that some around the league think they would take the shot if they keep the pick. With both offensive line and defensive line being two of the Cardinals team needs, it’d make more sense for the team to target whichever EDGE slips to 1.03 between Arvell Reese and David Bailey (it is looking like Bailey based on betting markets), or OT Francis Mauigoa to fill a glaring need.

Unless we see a team trade into the 1.03 and shake things up, I have a hard time buying into the smoke that Love could end up in the desert on Thursday.

  • Odds to Draft Love: -135 (DraftKings)

The betting odds tell the story here. As things stand, the consensus expectation is that Jeremiyah Love will be a Tennessee Titan by the end of Thursday night. And it makes complete sense.

Tony Pollard has been nothing close to a difference-maker and is a prime cut candidate in the backfield. Plus, in the last four NFL mock drafts that Matthew Freedman and Kody Malstrom have updated in our NFL Draft Guide, Love finds himself in Music City every time.

The Titans desperately need to give Cam Ward and new HC Robert Saleh something to work with to accelerate a rebuild, and a clear-cut blue-chip prospect with game-breaking upside is certainly a strong way to do just that. While pass catcher is a glaring need for this offense, it’d be near-impossible to justify drafting Carnell Tate or Jordyn Tyson at 1.04, especially ahead of Love assuming he is still on the board.

This is where things get interesting. If Love makes it through the top four picks, we could very well see the Giants take a shot on the Notre Dame RB despite hitting on Cam Skattebo in last year’s draft.

As I mentioned over the weekend, the Giants and new HC John Harbaugh are “especially high” on RB Jeremiyah Love. Where there’s smoke, there’s often fire, and the Giants trading Dexter Lawrence to the Bengals in exchange for 1.10 certainly poured a few extra drops of gasoline onto this one. With two picks in the top 10 (1.05, 1.10), the Giants may feel more inclined to take Love at 1.05, knowing they can likely shore up a defensive need at 1.10.

That said, the odds are not in favor of Love being available at 1.05. Plus, the Giants had a known presence at Jordyn Tyson’s Friday workout last week, and GM Joe Schoen went as far as having dinner with the buzzy WR the night before the workout. As Peter Schrager notes, 1.05 may be a touch rich for Tyson, but the Giants could realistically see him fall to 1.10 and allow themselves to take a shot on shoring up a need on the defensive side of the ball with Sonny Styles or Caleb Downs.

Of the teams not favored to draft Love, the Giants are the team that I feel best about taking the shot if he’s available, but man, it would deal a massive blow to Cam Skattebo’s fantasy football value.

CLE_browns-logo.svgCleveland Browns (1.06)

  • Odds to Draft Love: +4500 (DraftKings)

Of the teams currently positioned between picks 1.03 and 1.07, the Browns feel like the least likely to draft Love.

Sure, if he falls to 1.06, it’s hard to imagine anyone would really knock Cleveland for taking the shot, but there are a trio of things working against that happening:

  1. Love is currently favored to go 1.04 to Tennessee. Even if he doesn’t get drafted at 1.04, the Giants (1.05) have been a team heavily mentioned in Jeremiyah Love rumors.
  2. The Browns drafted Quinshon Judkins early in Round 2 in last year’s draft. And he showed signs of being an asset that the offense can build around, posting over 800 rushing yards and 7 TDs in 14 games before injury.
  3. The Browns are open to moving back from 1.06.

On top of this, Browns GM Andrew Berry himself expressed his doubt that Love will even be available for them to consider at 1.06.

This one feels far-fetched, and the betting odds reflect exactly that.

WAS_commanders-logo.svgWashington Commanders (1.07)

  • Odds to Draft Love: +370 (DraftKings)

I have full confidence that if Love does fall past the first six picks, he will wind up leading the Washington backfield alongside Jayden Daniels.

Not only would 1.07 be too far of a fall for a team to pass on Love at that point, but adding him would address a glaring team need for the Commanders heading into 2026.

After watching Chris Rodriguez take his talents to Jacksonville, the Commanders' backfield is in the hands of second-year back Jacory Croskey-Merritt, who underwhelmed relative to August expectations, and the recently re-signed Jeremy McNichols.

Do those two running backs drum up any excitement for you next to Daniels? Me neither. What about a generational blue-chip RB lining up in the backfield next to a healthy Daniels? Now that … that would feed families and provide the Washington offense with pop that it desperately needs, let alone running lanes for both Love and Daniels, given the dual-threat ability of their third-year QB.

If he falls to 1.07, bank on him landing in Washington. It just feels very unlikely that this fall will happen.
