Not every game can be a banger. On paper, the Cowboys at the Eagles looked like an awesome primetime matchup at the start of the year. Unfortunately, things have not played out that way. The Cowboys’ defense has failed to take the step forward that many were expecting this season, while the Eagles have been hit hard by injury.

No injury absence looms larger than that of Jalen Hurts. The Eagles’ Super Bowl-winning QB is expected to miss roughly three months due to blood clots, so he may not play again this season.

Still, the fact that both of these teams play in the NFC East means both still have playoff aspirations. The Giants lead the division at 4-2-1, and while they had an impressive win vs. the Texans on Sunday, they’re still not scaring anyone. Whoever wins this game will feel very live to win the division at 3-4.

Let’s break down some of the top NFL DFS Picks For Eagles vs. Cowboys using our NFL DFS projections.

Stud Picks For The Eagles vs. Cowboys DraftKings NFL DFS Showdown Slate

Dak Prescott ($10,400 Flex, $15,600 Captain)

The Cowboys’ offense hasn’t been quite as explosive as anticipated this season. They’re merely 15th in yards per game and ninth in points, and they’re seventh in EPA per play.

With that in mind, it’s not surprising that Prescott hasn’t been as efficient as in previous years. He’s averaged just 6.6 adjusted yards per attempt, while his touchdown rate is down from 5.0% last year to 4.1% through the first six weeks.

That said, Prescott has still been pretty good for fantasy purposes. He’s struggled the past two weeks, but he racked up at least 18.94 DraftKings points in each of his three previous starts. That includes a performance of just under 30 DraftKings points vs. the Commanders. Overall, Prescott entered this week as QB17 in fantasy points per game, but he has room for growth moving forward.

The Eagles have historically been a strong defensive team, but they haven’t been nearly as intimidating this season. They’re merely 23rd in EPA per pass defensively, and they’ve allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to the position.

Add it all up, and Prescott has the top projections for this matchup. He should be an extremely popular choice, but there's a good reason for it.

CeeDee Lamb ($11,000 Flex, $16,500 Captain)

Pairing Prescott with his top pass-catcher will likely be a go-to strategy for many this week. There is plenty of value with the Eagles, so paying up for the Cowboys’ top duo – even with one in the Captain spot – is very doable.

Lamb isn’t quite as big an alpha as some of the other top receivers in fantasy. That stems primarily from having to share the field with George Pickens. Pickens is an excellent receiver in his own right, so there are going to be weeks where he pops off.

However, Lamb has been the guy more often than not this season. He owns a 29% target share, and he’s been targeted on 31% of his routes run. Pickens is at 22% and 21%, respectively. Lamb also leads the team with a 39% air yards share and 50% end zone share, so he’s the clear-cut top option.

Lamb started the year with four straight weeks as a top-18 finish at receiver, including two finishes inside the top three. He’s taken a step back over the past two weeks, but he still entered this game at WR3 in PPR points per game.

After Prescott, Lamb owns the second-best projections for this contest. Javonte Williams ranks second among the non-QBs, and he’s more than three full points behind Lamb from a median perspective and nearly six points behind from a ceiling standpoint.

DraftKings NFL DFS Value Picks For PHI vs. DAL Showdown Slate

Dallas Goedert ($6,400 Flex, $9,600 Captain)

The Eagles’ offense is in a precarious spot. They’re without their starting QB, and they’re also missing two of their best pass-catchers. DeVonta Smith returned to the lineup last week following a two-game absence, but he’ll be back on the shelf vs. the Cowboys. Dontayvion Wicks has been the team’s No. 2 receiver, and he’s also been ruled out vs. Dallas.

It leaves Goedert as the team’s top remaining pass-catcher. He’s also missed time with an injury this season, but he’s posted an 18% target share when in the lineup. That figure increased to 25% in his lone game without Smith this season, despite Goedert posting a meager 69% route participation. That was his first game back from injury, and he was back up to 82% last week. He should be at least at that figure vs. the Cowboys, giving him much more upside than his price tag suggests.

Makai Lemon ($3,800 Flex, $5,700 Captain)

The Eagles traded up to select Lemon in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. While he’s seen plenty of snaps so far this season, that has yet to result in much tangible production. He’s been targeted on just 13% of his routes run, with a 10% air yards share and zero end zone targets. It results in an overall Utilization Score of just 39, which is simply not getting the job done.

Still, getting on the field is half the battle in DFS, and Lemon should be a near-every-snap player in Week 7. That sets him up as a potential breakout candidate vs. the Cowboys. Their defense remains one of the worst in football, and they’re currently dead last in EPA per pass attempt. They’ve allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing receivers, so one of the Eagles’ fill-ins figures to deliver a solid performance. Lemon is the most-likely candidate.

Differentiators For Your DraftKings NFL DFS Showdown Lineups (PHI vs. DAL)

Darius Cooper ($3,200 Flex, $4,800 Captain)

Cooper is the other potential receiver target for the Eagles. He hasn’t had the same opportunities as Lemon from a volume standpoint, but he’s made up for it with efficiency. He’s turned 15 targets into eight receptions, 139 yards, and four touchdowns.

Cooper took full advantage the last time Smith was out of the lineup. He posted a route participation of at least 86% in each of his previous two opportunities, and he racked up 16.8 and 14.1 0.5-PPR points in those outings. He also managed a 32% target share and 53% air yards share back in Week 4, albeit with Hurts under center.

Lemon still gets the slight edge over Cooper in our projections, but it should surprise no one if he ends up being the superior play. Using both guys together is also definitely viable at their current price tags, even if you don’t stack them with their QB.

Cowboys D/ST ($4,000 Flex, $6,000 Captain)

Using the Cowboys’ defense doesn’t make you feel warm and fuzzy. They’ve been just as bad this year as they were last year, despite spending significantly to upgrade certain positions.

Still, the Cowboys get to face off against a depleted Eagles’ offense, which massively increases their appeal. Philly has been struggling to move the ball at 100% this season, and things only figure to get worse with Tanner McKee under center. He averaged just 5.2 adjusted yards per attempt in his first start this season, and they managed just 14 points against the Panthers. Carolina was absolutely shredded by Tampa Bay in Week 7, so that performance looks even worse in retrospect.
