DraftKings NFL DFS Picks For Rams vs. Bills Showdown Slate: Stars To Target

Matt LaMarca breaks down how to approach the Week 5 Monday Night Football Showdown slate on DraftKings between the Rams and the Bills.

Monday Night Football for NFL Week 5 features a potential Super Bowl preview. The Buffalo Bills will travel to Los Angeles to take on the Rams, with the Rams listed as 3.5-point home favorites.

These two teams produced one of the games of the year the last time they shared the field. That was back in 2024, with the Rams squeaking out a 44-42 victory. Josh Allen put together one of the greatest fantasy performances in the history of the QB position, while Kyren Williams and Puka Nacua had big games for the Rams. The total for this version currently sits at 54.5, so there should be plenty of fantasy points to go around once again.

Let’s dive into some of my favorite DraftKings NFL DFS picks for Rams vs. Bills.

Stud Picks To Build Your DraftKings NFL DFS LAR/BUF Lineup Around

Josh Allen ($11,800 Flex, $17,700 Captain)

Allen remains an absolute force for fantasy purposes. He put together two monster games to start the year, finishing with 38.66 DraftKings points vs. the Texans and 40.82 vs. the Lions. He slipped back to “just” 20.46 and 19.52 in his past two outings, but he still combines floor and ceiling like very few.

Allen’s legs have always been a weapon, and he’s using them even more in 2026-27. He’s averaged 8.3 attempts per game, which represents a new career high. He’s also scored a whopping seven touchdowns through the first four weeks. Allen has at least 13 touchdowns in each of the past three seasons, and he could blow past that figure this year.

Of course, Allen’s also pretty damn good with his arm. He’s averaged 259.8 passing yards per game this season, up from just 215.8 last year.

Add it all up, and Allen has averaged an absurd 28.6 fantasy points per game to start the year. No other QB is above 23.7, so the gap between him and the rest of the field is pretty massive. He unsurprisingly owns the top raw projections in this contest, and it’s hard to imagine not using him. Allen will set you back quite a bit – and should carry the most ownership on the slate – but he’s typically worth every penny.

Kyren Williams ($9,800 Flex, $14,700 Captain)

The Rams were expected to employ a committee at running back this season, but that hasn’t really been the case in recent weeks. Williams has taken over as the team’s clear-cut top option. He’s handled 76% of the snaps, 73% of the rushing attempts, and a 20% target share over the past two games. Blake Corum has been at just 23%, 26%, and 6%, respectively.

As a result, Williams has posted an elite 95 Utilization Score in those contests. That’s the second-best mark in the NFL at running back over that time frame, trailing only Jahmyr Gibbs. Williams has responded with 21.8 and 36.7 DraftKings points, and if he continues to dominate the usage for Los Angeles, he’s simply too cheap at a sub-$10k price tag.

It’s also a great matchup for Williams. The Bills have had their issues defending the run this season, ranking just 29th in EPA per rush defensively. They’ve allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to the position, so Williams stands out as a phenomenal target in this contest.

DraftKings NFL DFS Value Picks For Rams vs. Bills Showdown Slate

Matthew Stafford ($9,000 Flex, $13,500 Captain)

Stafford is pretty ancient by NFL standards, but he’s still slinging the rock. He’s coming off an MVP-caliber season last year, and he trailed only Allen in terms of fantasy points per game at the position. He got off to a slow start this season in Australia, but he’s bounced back with at least 25.9 DraftKings points in two of his past three games. He’s also attempted at least 51 passes in back-to-back contests, and the Rams rank sixth in the NFL in Dropback Over Expectation.

Stafford stands out as arguably the best value on the slate. He’s projected for more fantasy points than all but Allen and Puka Nacua, despite possessing just the sixth-highest price tag.

Keon Coleman ($5,600 Flex, $8,400 Captain)

There’s a good chance that the Bills are without DJ Moore on Monday. He’s officially questionable after getting in a limited practice on Saturday, but it seems as though he’s closer to doubtful. Even if he does suit up, there’s a chance he’s limited or reaggravates his shoulder injury, making him a risky proposition.

It should result in a larger workload for Coleman. He’s coming off his best game of the season in relief of Moore last week. He posted a 78% route participation and 23% target share, resulting in 26.6 DraftKings points.

Ultimately, there’s a chance he serves as one of Allen’s primary pass catchers in a game with plenty of offensive potential. That’s a pretty appealing proposition at just $5,600.

Picks To Differentiate Your DraftKings NFL DFS Lineup For Rams vs. Bills

Colby Parkinson ($2,400 Flex, $3,600 Captain)

The Rams entered the season with a massive group of tight ends, but they’re getting thinner by the week. Terrance Ferguson was recently placed on IR, while Parkinson missed last week’s game vs. the Eagles.

The good news is that Parkinson should be good to go vs. the Bills. He’s far from an elite pass catcher, but he was a pretty consistent piece of the offense before getting hurt. The Rams love multi-TE sets, and with Ferguson out of the picture, Parkinson should see a solid handful of routes in this matchup. It makes him a nice value choice at just $2,400.

Greg Dortch ($800 Flex, $1,200 Captain)

There’s a lot of offensive firepower in this game, and it’s pretty tempting to jam as much of it as possible into your lineup. Dortch can help make that a reality. He’s basically not had a role for the Bills to start the season, but the injury to Moore could change that. All he needs is a couple of catches to provide value at this price, and even if he puts up a bagel, he won’t kill your lineup if all the studs go off.
