Dynasty Superflex Rookie Mock Draft: Where Does De'Zhaun Stribling Land In The Three-Round Draft?
Jake Trowbridge runs through the top 36 picks of a dynasty superflex rookie mock draft and goes pick by pick.
You might be asking yourself, “Isn’t a one-man dynasty rookie mock draft just like … your dynasty rookie rankings?” And sure, if you wanna be a Simple Susan about it, I guess that’s technically true.
But where’s the pizazz in that?? Besides, this way I get to snipe myself, which is always fun. And no, that’s not a euphemism. Let’s get into it …
First Round Of The Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft (Superflex)
1.01 - Jeremiyah Love | RB | ARI
The first overall pick is no time to get cute. Like Ashton Jeanty last year and Bijan Robinson two years before that, Love’s draft profile makes him deserving of my affection and the 1.01 pick, even in Superflex leagues.
1.02 - Makai Lemon | WR | PHI
Sure, you could draft Fernando Mendoza here because of positional scarcity. But that’s just playing scared! I’m not going to pass up my pre-draft WR1, who should be a focal point in the Eagles' new look offense.
I also acknowledge that I’m on an island with this opinion. But what can I say? I’m a loner, Dottie. A rebel.
1.03 - Jordyn Tyson | WR | NO
Tyson probably has the highest upside of any receiver in this class, but his injury history is so substantial that it should come with its own post-credits scene. Still, looking five years into the future, there’s a real chance he ends up a top-10 dynasty receiver. I’m not sure I can say that about these next guys …
1.04 - Carnell Tate | WR | TEN
Tate seems to be the safest, most pro-ready receiver of the class. So if you’re looking for immediate, but possibly uninspiring production, he’s your guy.
1.05 - Fernando Mendoza | QB | LV
Before the NFL Draft, I would’ve entertained the argument for Mendoza at 1.02. But that was assuming the Raiders' wide receiver room wasn’t headlined by Jalen Nailor. Even after he usurps Kirk Cousins for the starting role, there are decent odds Mendoza sees a Baker Mayfield-esque trajectory that requires a lot of patience for dynasty managers.
1.06 - KC Concepcion | WR | CLE
A lot of folks are bummed about this landing spot. Not me. Concepcion’s versatility should allow him to thrive in even the darkest environment … like a fantasy football fungus. Plus, he’s got a wide open runway for targets.
1.07 - Jadarian Price | RB | SEA
This might be the best fit of the entire NFL draft. Price could get a horse-sized workload while Zach Charbonnet works his way back from injury. But even if he gets stuck in a messy split, no running back is better suited to squeeze fantasy points out of limited opportunities than the ultra-efficient Notre Dame product.
1.08 - Omar Cooper | WR | NYJ
The Jets proved they’re serious about overhauling their offense. And with Geno Smith running point, maybe there will be enough opportunities for this YAC monster to pay off on a semi-weekly basis. Cooper’s upside is worth the risk.
1.09 - Kenyon Sadiq | TE | NYJ
Speaking of risk, I don’t like this landing spot for the very raw Sadiq. But even though his floor is basically a trap door that could send his value into the basement, his overall talent paints a Sistine Chapel-esque ceiling. That’s worth chasing.
1.10 - Eli Stowers | TE | PHI
Stowers has been a steady riser in my rookie rankings since the NFL Combine. With A.J. Brown on the outs and Dallas Goedert likely gone next year, we might get one of those early TE breakouts the kids have been raving about lately.
1.11 - Denzel Boston | WR | CLE
The Cleveland Browns are … how do I put this delicately … an old diaper full of despair. But there should be plenty of opportunities for rookie receivers to make their mark here. Boston could see a hefty target share as their boundary receiver.
1.12 - Chris Bell | WR | MIA
The ONLY reason I took Boston before Bell is because of Bell’s late-season injury, which pushed him down real NFL draft boards and could cause a slow start. So please, be just a little patient with him.
Superflex Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft - Second Round
2.01 - De'Zhaun Stribling | WR | SF
There are two schools of thought on this 49ers pick:
- Stribling is another in a long line of odd WR picks by John Lynch who’s doomed to fail.
- Lynch and the organization have taken so much heat for the pick that they’re going to force Stribling down our throats whether he’s actually good or not.
The possibility of the latter makes him enticing.
2.02 - Ty Simpson | QB | LAR
Fine, I’ll do it. But I won’t like it. In a Superflex league, it would be irresponsible to let the NFL’s 13th overall pick drop any further, even if all the data suggests Simpson would have to be a TREMENDOUS outlier to succeed in the NFL.
2.03 - Antonio Williams | WR | WAS
We’ve reached the point where draft capital and depth charts start to matter a lot more. With Day 2 capital and a thin Washington receiving corps, Williams has a lot going for him. Even if the Commanders haven’t successfully drafted a receiver since Avengers: Endgame was in theaters.
2.04 - Nicholas Singleton | RB | TEN
Singleton broke Saquon Barkley’s touchdown record at Penn State, but also broke his foot before the Senior Bowl, which caused him to slide to the fifth round. It wouldn’t shock me if the rookie leads the Tennessee backfield in touches.
2.05 - Germie Bernard | WR | PIT
Aaron Rodgers’ track record with rookie receivers suggests we shouldn’t get too excited about Bernard for 2026, but he has the tools to break out big whenever Rodgers finally does the right thing and retires.
2.06 - Chris Brazzell | WR | CAR
Move over, Xavier Legette. Your time is up. Brazzell isn’t a world-beating receiver, but I see some massive spike weeks in his near future, which will at least provide some nice sell-high windows in your league.
2.07 - Zachariah Branch | WR | ATL
Branch is fast. Real fast. And he could be the butter to Drake London’s bread in the Falcons offense. Branch is the kind of guy you just like watching with the ball in his hands, which makes him easy to root for.
2.08 - Kaytron Allen | RB | WAS
This is one of my favorite fits in terms of talent + landing spot. If Allen can shove Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Rachaad White out of the way to get enough touches, he could end up the steal of your rookie draft.
2.09 - Jonah Coleman | RB | DEN
Don’t hate the player, hate the coach. Sean Payton has given us no reason to believe Coleman will be used as much as he deserves, even if/when J.K. Dobbins suffers another injury. Still, he’s got three-down potential if Payton ever stops trying to outsmart himself.
2.10 - Elijah Sarratt | WR | BAL
Much blood has been spilled about whether Sarratt should’ve been taken above teammate Ja’Kobi Lane in the actual draft. I’m going to trust Sarratt’s college production and the Rookie Super Model over plain ol’ draft capital.
2.11 - Ja’Kobi Lane | WR | BAL
… but I’ll double-tap and take Lane here. Because hey, sometimes NFL coaches and GMs are smarter than us. And if the Ravens shift to a heavier passing offense under the new regime, I want anyone catching balls from Lamar Jackson.
2.12 - Ted Hurst | WR | TB
This is a working man’s pick. This is the pick you make if you’ve ever spent time behind the wheel of a forklift or been up on some scaffolding. Hurst’s Day 2 draft capital was a pleasant surprise for the former D-II stud, which signifies Tampa Bay has some confidence in him.
Third Round Of The Superflex Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft
3.01 - Mike Washington | RB | LV
After the NFL Combine, I had Washington mocked in the back half of the first round. Then he landed in one of the worst spots imaginable, alongside Jeanty. And now I’m sad. But I’m still holding out hope his combo of size and speed can earn him a decent chunk of touches.
3.02 - Carson Beck | QB | ARI
This is Superflex, and we can’t turn a blind eye to any rookie QB with the potential to start games at some point this season. Jacoby Brissett isn't exactly bulletproof, after all.
3.03 - Drew Allar | QB | PIT
Rodgers is supposedly returning to Pittsburgh. But he’s old and looked genuinely frightened to take a hit most of last year. Even if Allar doesn’t see the field in 2026, Mike McCarthy could move him to the front of the line next year, just to prove he’s still got it as a “QB developer.”
3.04 - Malachi Fields | WR | NYG
He was the 10th receiver off the board in the real draft, and I’ve got very little love for Darius Slayton. Fields is a big guy who’s deceptively agile. The Jack Black of this draft class, if you will.
3.05 - Skyler Bell | WR | BUF
If DJ Moore’s time with the Bills resembles Amari Cooper more than Stefon Diggs, Bell could be a sought-after target for Josh Allen. He’s not exactly a young prospect, but does that even mean anything in this post-NIL world?
3.06 - Max Klare | TE | LAR
Did the Rams really need another tight end? Probably not, unless they plan to run a lot of four-TE sets.
But in dynasty, I’ll always favor talent over situation to some extent. And perhaps this move signifies Sean McVay isn’t so happy with Colby Parkinson or Tyler Higbee. Or Terrance Ferguson. Or … you get it.
3.07 - Caleb Douglas | WR | MIA
Everyone hated this pick. Dolphins fans, fantasy managers, people with eyeballs …
And I understand the consternation. But Douglas was reached for in Round 3 on a team with a glaring need at the position. I’ll hold my nose and trust Miami’s new GM.
3.08 - Emmett Johnson | RB | KC
Look, I’m not gonna pee in your face and tell you it’s lemonade. This was a tough landing spot for Johnson. But at least OC Eric Bieniemy has shown interest in using a true pass-catching running back, and Johnson is probably better than Kenneth Walker in that respect. Maybe we’ll get 2022 Jerick McKinnon levels of usage?
3.09 - Kaelon Black | RB | SF
Another reach by San Francisco means another possibility that he gets more playing time than he deserves, just to make themselves feel better about it.
3.10 - Taylen Green | QB | CLE
Another guy walking into an unstable QB room. Green is probably more Joe Milton than Anthony Richardson, but if he gets the chance to start, there’s so much upside here.
3.11 - Oscar Delp | TE | NO
Delp might be the most well-rounded yet uninteresting tight end in this class. His name even rhymes with “welp.” But hey, sometimes the boring picks are the ones that pay off.
3.12 - Brenen Thompson | WR | LAC
Let’s end this with a bang. Mike McDaniel told everyone in the draft room he’d take his shirt off if the Chargers drafted this little speedster. And McDaniel doesn’t exactly reek of Thor’s workout routine. He’s going to try his best to make Thompson a thing.
