Fantasy Football ADP Risers And Fallers: Aaron Rodgers Up, Rashee Rice Down

Adam Pfeifer analyzes the fantasy football ADP shift for players on the rise or falling over the past seven days.

Monday means ADP movement.

Of course, ADP is always changing over on Underdog. But every Monday we highlight some of the most notable risers and fallers over the past seven days. And as we inch closer and closer to the start of training camp, we’re only going to get more and more news that shifts ADP.

Let’s break it down.

Fantasy Football ADP Risers

ADP shift: Up 15.2 and 2.6 spots, respectively

We’ll kick things off with what I believe will be the top pairing in the 2026 Pittsburgh passing attack.

Everyone knew that if Rodgers did return for a 22nd NFL season, it would be with the Steelers and familiar face Mike McCarthy. But since pen hit paper, Aaron Rodgers has become the highest riser in best ball ADP, climbing over 15 spots. Officially settling in as a starting quarterback is naturally going to boost your ADP, though the upside still feels lacking. Perhaps Rodgers can rediscover some fantasy magic in he's said is his final season. But last season, Rodgers averaged just 14.6 fantasy points per game (23rd), while offering nothing in the rushing department.

Maybe reuniting with McCarthy can make this passing attack more fantasy-friendly. With Arthur Smith calling plays over the last two years, the Steelers ranked 30th and 25th in 11 personnel usage, deploying it 46% of the time during that stretch. But during his time in Dallas, McCarthy deployed three-wide sets 66% of the time, and the offseason additions of Michael Pittman Jr. and rookie Germie Bernard could signal a potential shift.

Speaking of Pittman, although it’ll be his first year in Pittsburgh, he is the wideout to draft if you ask me. He meshes best with what Rodgers wants to do, especially at this stage of his career. As his career has progressed, Rodgers has become a lot more reliant on quick-hitting slant routes and timing concepts. And over the past two seasons, no quarterback has targeted slant routes more than Rodgers (96). That bodes well for Pittman, who ranked eighth in football in targets off slant routes last season. He, not DK Metcalf, will lead this team in targets, and the Fantasy Life projections agree.

ADP shift: Up 5.3 spots

As Malik Nabers’ ADP has started to plummet, the secondary Giants pass catchers begin to rise. If Nabers isn’t ready for the start of the season, Darnell Mooney would have every chance of operating as New York’s WR1, which is obviously a fantasy-relevant role. And with Wan'Dale Robinson already gone, if the Giants are also missing Nabers to open the season, suddenly nearly 35% of the Giants’ 2025 targets are up for grabs.

Of course, Mooney won’t just slide into a 25-30% target share role. That would be insane to even consider, and I don’t think the ADP should rise too much. If Nabers is sidelined, I think the Giants heavily lean into Cam Skattebo and the rushing attack, while Isaiah Likely and Darius Slayton will play key roles, too.

Fantasy Football ADP Fallers

ADP shift: Down 8.1 spots

Once again, Rashee Rice has a lot on his plate right now.

There’s a food pun in there somewhere.

Anyway, after the recent news surrounding Kansas City’s WR1, Rice’s ADP has now dropped over eight spots over the past week. Following a cleanup surgery, Rice is expected to miss two months, which would put him on track to return about two weeks before training camp kicks off. Once an early second-round selection in fantasy drafts, Rice has fallen to the early-third round. There’s obvious risk with Rice that seemingly grows each week, but he could easily return to his early second-round ADP before the end of the summer because the upside is massive.

Albeit in smaller sample sizes, Rice has shown flashes of not just being a good fantasy wide receiver, but an elite one. Before suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week 4 of 2024, Rice was dominating, posting a 33% TPRR, 34% target share and 21.6 PPR PPG from Weeks 1-3. And then once he returned from suspension last year, he continued to crush, ranking fifth in TPRR (29%), 10th in target share (29%) and 8th in FPPG (18.0). With Rice seeing all of the schemed and designed targets, both his floor and ceiling are massive, especially as long as Patrick Mahomes is under center.

He just needs to stay on the field.

ADP shift: Down 4.8 spots

At the end of March, Saints head coach Kellen Moore talked as if Alvin Kamara was going to be involved in 2026, even following the addition of Travis Etienne.

“He’s certainly on the roster and part of that running back room. We feel like there’s ways that you can manipulate all those guys and put them in plenty of situations. Look at our season last year, look at probably just about every NFL season—plenty of running backs play. We feel fortunate that we are able to acquire Travis in free agency, but there’s still a lot of work to be had out there.”

Since then, however, the tune has changed.

Last week, GM Mickey Loomis said the team is still trying to see how Kamara fits on the roster for this upcoming season, clouding the future of the longtime Saints running back. Suddenly, the question isn’t what size role Kamara will play in New Orleans’ backfield, but whether he’ll have one at all.

As a result of the uncertainty, his ADP has dipped, and at this point, I’m starting to operate under the assumption he won’t play for the Saints in 2026. Kamara has been very vocal about how he only wants to play in New Orleans, so it’ll be interesting to see what he does if the Saints indeed move on. Could he retire? And if he doesn’t, are there any landing spots where he could hold, or even retain, fantasy value?

Teams to keep an eye on:

  • Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Baltimore Ravens
  • Dallas Cowboys
  • Green Bay Packers
