Week 3 Quarterback Streamers For Fantasy Football: Jordan Love Ready To Launch

We’re on to Week 3, and we have just enough data to be dangerous. Of course, making sense of the Bears going from 59 to a field goal a week later, um, let’s not even try. Though Mother Nature did remind us to check on the weather reports before setting lineups.

Let’s get into some streamers. As always with quarterbacks, we’ll mine the fantasy football rankings for players outside the top 12. Make sure to check out our fantasy football projections to get further confirmation why these players are targets.

QB Streamers for Week 3 in Fantasy Football

Jordan Love | Packers vs. Falcons (TNF)

Not waiting long for the first one. Which Jordan Love are we getting? The one who threw for 387 and a pair of TDs Week 1? Or the one who passed for 145 yards and 2 scores in the rain Week 2? I’m leaning toward the first one, especially in this matchup.

Bryce Young just passed for 287 yards and 3 scores against the Falcons, who will probably be without top CB AJ Terrell after he left the last game with a groin injury. The targets should also consolidate around Christian Watson, Matthew Golden and Tucker Kraft—get well soon, Jayden Reed.

Kyler Murray | Vikings at Buccaneers

Let’s try this again. Kyler Murray has already been cleared of the concussion protocol and has been named the starter for the Vikings in Week 3. It’s time to see if Kyler will actually take his game to a new level with the Vikings and Kevin O’Connell.

The Buccaneers have allowed 492 combined passing yards and 3 TDs to Joe Burrow and Deshaun Watson in the first two weeks. They’ve been a pass-funnel defense under Todd Bowles, finishing sixth with 254.8 passing yards allowed last season. Kyler and Justin Jefferson could be a fun stack to build around for DFS as well.

Jared Goff | Lions vs. Jets

This may actually be a little cheating, as Jared Goff very well could be ranked in the top 12 at some point this week. But if you’ve had him as your QB2, this is a week to get him off your bench. The Lions are home—often reason enough to start Goff—and facing an old friend in former DC Aaron Glenn.

This will be the Jets’ first real test, after the rain helped them on Sunday. Goff and his full complement of offensive weapons, led by Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown, will be on the fast track and ready to make some noise.
