With bye weeks not slowing down anytime soon, finding viable streaming options is crucial.

Speaking of, I’m serving as a Week 6 streaming option myself, filling in this week. I’ll be highlighting some interesting streamers for all four main positions, giving you players you can plug into your lineup if you are dealing with bye weeks and/or injuries. Keep an eye on our  fantasy football rankings and fantasy football projections to get further confirmation why these players are targets.

Up next? Running backs.

Running Back Streamers for Week 6 Fantasy Football

MarShawn Lloyd vs Dallas Cowboys

I’m still hesitant to fully buy into Lloyd, or any Green Bay running back for that matter, but there appears to be some momentum building here. Chris Brooks missed this game and Green Bay still used multiple running backs. However, all 9 of Kaleb Johnson’s snaps and all 7 of his carries came in the fourth quarter of a blowout. Brooks, meanwhile, barely outsnapped Pierre Strong, while out-touching him, 11-8. Lloyd scored 2 rushing touchdowns and while his 3.1 YPC won’t wow you, this was easily the best he’s looked all year.

He’s going to cede passing-downs work to Strong, but Lloyd will get the early-down and goal-line work in a great matchup against an awful Dallas defense surrendering the 12th-most fantasy points and fourth-most rushing touchdowns per game to opposing backfields.

Dameon Pierce vs Carolina Panthers

How the hell did we get here?

First, Saquon Barkley hurt his hamstring. Then Tank Bigsby landed on injured reserve. Will Shipley drew the start on Sunday in London, only to leave the game with a foot injury that will cause him to miss time. Enter Pierce, who will lead this Philadelphia backfield on Sunday if Barkley can’t play. And don’t get me wrong, I’m not expecting a ton here, even against a Carolina defense you can run on. The Eagles offensive line is completely depleted, Pierce won’t catch passes and can always lose goal-line work to Jalen Hurts. But at the end of the day, he’s a running back who could be in line for 15-plus touches in a week with four teams on bye.

Kendre Miller @ New York Giants

This one requires a bit more leap of faith, but Miller operated as New Orleans’ lead rusher on Sunday, carrying the ball 10 times for 30 yards and a touchdown. Alvin Kamara was limited in practice throughout the week with a back issue, and it’s very likely the injury impacted his playing time on Sunday. Miller played just 30% of the snaps, but handled 56% of the rush attempts. It wouldn’t shock me to see Kamara limited in practice again this week, and if for whatever reason he can’t play on Sunday, Miller would be in line for 15-plus touches against a Giants defense you can absolutely run on.
