Week 7 IDP Fantasy Football Rankings: Nik Bonitto is Coming for Your QB

I get it, you want to know what quarterback you are going to play week to week. But isn’t it just as important to know what defense, or better yet, a defensive player has the potential to wreck that quarterback? Hello, IDP players.

Through six weeks, here are the rankings of the IDP players that you want to roster, or for those who haven’t yet dipped into IDP land, you might want to rethink what quarterback, running back or wide receiver you are depending on.

IDP Defensive Line Rankings for Week 7

Tackles are nice, but let’s face it, we want our defensive linemen to wreck the quarterback. Here are the top 19 defensive linemen going into Week 7. Remember, matchups are paramount; you want your defensive line going against a subpar offensive line (yep, looking at you, Cincinnati Bengals and the Tennessee Titans).

Honorable Mention

If your IDP league is high on tackling versus splash plays, the Indianapolis Colts ' DeForest Buckner leads all defensive linemen with 31 combined tackles. The Colts will travel to play the Los Angeles Chargers this week, who are having their own offensive line problems.

IDP Linebacker Rankings

The foundation of your IDP roster is the linebacker position. They aren’t particularly flashy, but what they lack in splash, they make up for in consistency.

Unfortunately, the best linebacker went out last week with a dislocated ankle. Get well soon, Fred Warner.

If tackling is your thing, look to the Big Easy and Demario Davis, who has 51 total tackles. But if you are more of a splashy kinda person, Patrick Queen has 7 quarterback pressures, 1 sack and 44 tackles.

IDP Defensive Back Rankings

Speaking of flash and splash, the best of these give you both flash and splash and aren’t afraid of contact either. However, remember the really good ones quarterbacks tend to avoid contact, and thus their fantasy value is null.
