Wish List for the NFL Draft 2026: Jeremiyah Love to the Cowboys?

We’ve arrived. Round 1 of the NFL Draft kicks off tonight.
I can’t really think of any stones we’ve left unturned here at Fantasy Life. All that is left to do is dream … and that’s what I’m going to do right now.
Yesterday, Ian put together an awesome piece where he mocked realistic landing spots for skill-position players and what it would mean for fantasy football.
But that’s not what I’m going to do. I’m dreaming big … irrationally so. These are the fits I most want to see for fantasy purposes—even if reality gets stretched.
- Jeremiyah Love > Cowboys. Rumors are the Cowboys want to make a splash tonight. After years of devaluing the RB position, how about Jerry Jones parties like it’s 2016 when he selected Zeke fourth overall and trades up for the top prize in this class?
- Jordyn Tyson > Commanders. If we can’t get an ASU reunion with Jayden Daniels and Brandon Aiyuk, how about we just get a younger, more exciting Sun Devil to bolster the Washington receiving room?
- Carnell Tate > Chiefs. Forget this Browns nonsense. No one wants that. Give me Tate to the Chiefs at 1.09 instead. Patrick Mahomes with Tate, Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy and Travis Kelce would be electric.
- Makai Lemon > Ravens. Lemon would pair nicely with Zay Flowers, and Lamar Jackson deserves another real weapon.
- Omar Cooper > Eagles. Jets? Disgusting. Get outta here with that. The Eagles, on the other hand, can usher in the post-AJB era with their new No. 2—even if it means Dontayvion Wicks szn ends abruptly.
- Denzel Boston > Bills. Don Draper voice: Idea: Keon Coleman, but good?
- Jadarian Price > Seahawks. Seattle panics about its RB room and overpays for the RB2 … unlikely, I know, but you can’t deny that it would be fun for fantasy!

Coach Gene’s 5 Favorite Prospects
Much as we say we don’t, we all play favorites. “Pick your guys,” people love to say when we’re on the clock in fantasy drafts. The same is true for those who analyze the draft. Coach Gene Clemons dropped his five favorite draft prospects ahead of the NFL Draft, and the description for one of them may leave you already wanting to draft him in your league:
Jonah Coleman is a flaming hot meatball on wheels. At 5-foot-9 and nearly 230 pounds, he looks like he was genetically engineered to run over linebackers. The recipe that put him together was one that was built on violence. It's extremely fun to watch defenders try to get an angle to hit him where they can knock him off his equilibrium. He's so low to the ground that he deals with defender hits like a battle bot. He absorbs the energy, makes a correction and continues to move forward. He has surprising foot quickness for someone so big. When defenders are loading up to try to absorb his hit, he's able to sidestep them and keep moving forward. ⤵️
