Week 3 Guillotine Leagues™ Bidding Advice: How Much FAAB To Bid On Bijan Robinson, Drake London & More

Dig into how much FAAB to bid on the most-chopped players from Week 2, players who sustained an injury, and players to avoid on the Guillotine Leagues™ waiver wire in Week 3.

Published Updated

Chop chop! Congratulations on surviving the second Guillotine Leagues™ chop of the 2026 season. After a week where a handful of elite players hit the chopping block, the Week 3 waiver wire brings us another crop of high-end assets to consider using your FAAB on.

Before I jump into the Week 3 Guillotine Leagues™ bidding advice, a handful of housekeeping items:

  • Bid recommendations will be pulled directly from our Guillotine Leagues™ Waiver Wire Tool. The tool offers the ability to gauge bids by type (aggressive, conservative, average, etc.), league size, and recommendations relative to your remaining FAAB.
  • The players included in this article will be the 10 most chopped players from the previous week. This data is pulled directly from Guillotine Leagues, and you can find full write-ups of the Most Chopped Players from Week 1 here.
  • Not every bid recommendation will come from the same settings. For example, if (spoiler alert) Ja'Marr Chase is on the waiver wire, I am more likely to bid aggressively on him than a mid-tier player further down the list, who I might place an 'average' bid on.
  • If you have not yet synced your Guillotine Leagues™ with our fantasy football league sync—do it. There is no better way to get fully personalized and actionable recommendations to help you survive the chop.
  • REMINDER: You can still create/enter new Guillotine Leagues™ ahead of Week 3 with single-chop leagues of up to 16 people. Join a league today!

FAAB Bidding Advice For Week 3 In Guillotine Leagues™

Chopped Players Who Sustained Week 2 Injuries

Puka Nacua | WR | Rams (21.25%): Nacua missing Monday Night Football was the nail in the coffin for roughly 1 in every 5 Guillotine Leaguers in Week 2. The last-second nature of the injury development and lack of certainty about Week 3 will likely have bidders timid on the Week 3 wire. It's nice to hear that Sean McVay and the Rams are "hopeful" about him playing in Week 3, but again, ambiguity remains. Even so, this is one of the best possible players you could bid on in this format and is the definition of an end-game player. I won't get ultra-aggressive on this bid, but I will certainly be throwing a bag at Nacua this week. Recommended Bid: 45-50% (Aggressive)

Saquon Barkley | RB | Eagles (17.23%): Barkley's injury case is a weird one. He left the game with a stinger, tried to come back, and ultimately ended up sitting out the rest of the game. As long as his MRI comes back clean, he should be good to go for Week 3 and ranks as a back-end RB1 in Freedman's early Week 3 fantasy football rankings against a porous Bears D. He commanded 82% of the rushing attempts in Week 1 and posted 0.20 targets per route run (29% routes), giving him some incremental pass-game upside. With Dallas Goedert hurt and Eli Stowers on IR, the Eagles could consolidate around him even more. Recommended Bid: 25-30% (Conservative)

Jaxson Dart | QB | Giants (16.01%): The final verdict on Dart's specific injury as well as recovery timeline is not fun, as the MRI on Tuesday revealed that the injury is "worse than anticipated", and he's set to miss extended time and, potentially, the entire season. This is a clear stayaway in your GL bidding. Recommended Bid: None

Malik Nabers | WR | Giants (13.25%): Nabers returned to Monday night's game after reportedly dislocating (and relocating) his shoulder mid-game. He's slated for an MRI on Tuesday, where we may get clarity on a timeline, but there is potential he doesn't miss any action. Whether or not we see a production dip, though, remains to be seen. Jameis Winston has often been a lucrative QB to tie your pass catchers to in fantasy football (purely because of his voluminous and aggressive nature), but Nabers only saw a 13% target share on 82% of the routes in Week 2. That will likely come up, but there is too much unknown here to feel good bidding anything of significance. Recommended Bid: 1-2%

DJ Moore | WR | Bills (12.56%): Moore has a chance to suit up in Week 3 but reportedly "is not a lock". Either way, day-to-day is a tag worth targeting in Guillotine Leagues™ for Josh Allen's first WR1 in seasons. He posted a 27% target share in Week 1 en route to 21.0 PPR points. In arguably the NFL's best offense, he has a ton of value. I would be more conservative with your bidding if you are in a situation where you already have a shaky WR situation ahead of Week 3, but if you feel confident you have enough high-floor starters for the week, Moore makes sense as a bid with the long view in mind. Recommended Bid: 5% (if slightly thin at WR), 7-9% (if you feel you can afford him potentially missing one week)

Caleb Williams | QB | Bears (12.31%): The drama king himself could very well suit up on Monday night, but there's also the chance he doesn't, and even if he does, how compromised will his mobility be one week after a Grade 1 hamstring strain? This is a pass for me in Week 3. Recommended Bid: None

Highly-Chopped Players To Bid On In Guillotine Leagues™ For Week 3 (10%+)

Colston Loveland | TE | Bears (13.94%): Third amongst (Bears) tight ends in fantasy points this season, Loveland was a massive swing-and-miss as a recommended bid ahead of Week 2. His route share torpedoed from 89% in Week 1 to 69% last week, and his target share (somehow) dropped even further (8% -> 7%). He's still playing most of the snaps, so he's on the field. We just need him utilized in the right way. That said, Dwain McFarland downgraded him to low-end TE1 status in his Week 3 Utilization Report. I'd be willing to bid on Loveland, but would be a bit more conservative than last week. Recommended Bid: 5-7% (aggressive, per our tool, but I think leaguemates will bid more)

Brock Bowers | TE | Raiders (12.92%): All indications are that Bowers is expected to return this week. We might see a slight dip in production or him being eased in route-wise out of the gate, but he's worth targeting if you are hurting at tight end. He should dominate in target share when running routes, and his upside is the top player at the position overall. Our tool is recommending extreme caution when bidding on him, so I'm not bidding as much here as I would be willing to with Loveland, but I would be OK sprinkling a bid for Bowers if you feel your team has the potential to survive at least the next handful of chops. Recommended Bid: 3-5%

Bijan Robinson | RB | Falcons (12.52%): The crown jewel of the Week 3 waiver wire got good news on Monday, as Michael Penix is slated to start Week 3 against the Packers on Thursday night. Even though Penix might not be one of the better QBs in the league, this is a massive upgrade from the Cooper Rush/Jack Strand combo. Robinson's utilization is downright elite, posting a 93 Utilization Score, 51% route rate, 28% target share and rush share above 60%. Unload the clip ahead of a matchup with one of the most attackable defenses in the NFL without Micah Parsons. Recommended Bid: 50-55%

Justin Jefferson | WR | Vikings (11.7%): Jefferson had a down game in Week 2, but a lot of it can be attributed to the nature of the game. The weather was terrible, leading to Aaron Jones seeing a massive workload on the ground and Carson Wentz taking a back seat. The underlying data is still elite—he had a 32% target share and ran 100% of the routes in Week 2, posted a 16.5-yard aDOT and 100% end-zone target rate. His missing out on a touchdown was what got him added to this chop list. He has high-end WR1 upside and sits as a mid-range WR1 for the foreseeable future. Recommended Bid: 17-20%

Tucker Kraft | TE | Packers (10.28%): The surface-level numbers don't show it, but Week 2 was an encouraging one for Kraft. After running only 48% of the routes in Week 1, he nearly doubled that in Week 2, running 84% of the routes (elite). His 11% target share left a lot to be desired, but the Packers offense was in shambles from the first whistle. With Jayden Reed slated to miss time, this target tree will only get more consolidated, making Kraft one of my favorite buy-lows of the Week and my favorite tight end to bid on of the ones mentioned. Recommended Bid: 7-9%

David Montgomery | RB | Texans (10.12%): Montgomery went from smashing in Week 1 to disappointing in Week 2 after the Texans struggled to contain the Bengals offense. He saw his 65% share of the rushing attempts in Week 1 drop to 40% in Week 2, but his route share jumped from 33% to 45% given the game script. I would like to think his answer lies somewhere in the middle of his 28.9- and 4.4-point performances to open the season and I view him as a rock-solid RB2. I'm willing to bid here if you are hurting at running back, but would not be getting aggressive. Recommended Bid: 2-3%

Drake London | WR | Falcons (10.0%): Much of the analysis shared for Bijan Robinson applies similarly. In 10 games with Penix from 2024-25, London posted 21.6 points per game and dominated target share. In terms of acquisition cost, I expect London to come at a cheaper tag than Jefferson and Nacua, making him the wide receiver I would most want to target ahead of Week 3. Recommended Bid: 15-17%

Players I Would Avoid Bidding On In Week 3 Guillotine Leagues™

Drake Maye | QB | Patriots (11.7%): If he's the only viable and healthy quarterback on your wire, I get it, but Maye profiles as a mid-range QB2 for Dwain McFarland right now, making him a break-glass-in-case-of-emergency bid and nothing more.

Nico Collins | WR | Texans (10.69%): High likelihood that he misses Week 3, so unless you think you can get him for (literally) a few dollars, it's worth waiting a week.

Marvin Harrison Jr | WR | Cardinals (9.06%): No chance.
