Week 6 Guillotine Leagues™ Bidding Advice: How Much FAAB To Bid On Kenneth Walker & More
Dig into how much FAAB to bid on the most-chopped players from Week 5, players who sustained an injury, and players to avoid on the Guillotine Leagues™ waiver wire in Week 6.
If you're reading this, congratulations are in order for surviving Chop #5 on the Guillotine Leagues™ season (if you started in Week 1). Hopefully you were able to use last week's article to navigate the waiver wire successfully, as we went 10/10 on players to avoid bidding on.
Before I jump into the Week 6 Guillotine Leagues™ bidding advice regarding the most highly chopped players of the week (10%+), a handful of housekeeping items:
- Bid recommendations will be pulled directly from our Guillotine Leagues™ Waiver Wire Tool. The tool offers the ability to gauge bids by type (aggressive, conservative, average, etc.), league size, and recommendations relative to your remaining FAAB.
- The players included in this article will be among the 10 most chopped players from the previous week. This data is pulled directly from Guillotine Leagues™.
- Not every bid recommendation will come from the same settings. For example, if Ja'Marr Chase is on the waiver wire, I am more likely to bid aggressively on him than a mid-tier player further down the list, who I might place an 'average' bid on.
- If you have not yet synced your Guillotine Leagues™ with our fantasy football league sync—do it. There is no better way to get fully personalized and actionable recommendations to help you survive the chop.
- REMINDER: You can still create/enter new Guillotine Leagues™ ahead of Week 6 with single-chop leagues of up to 13 people. Join a league today!

FAAB Bidding Advice For Week 6 In Guillotine Leagues™
Chopped Players Due To Injury Or Bye Week
CeeDee Lamb (WR, DAL), 19.21% chopped: Lamb re-aggravated a bruised quad in Week 5, but he has a few things working in his favor. The Cowboys played on Thursday, giving him 10 days before his Week 6 game. Plus, initial reports were that he likely wouldn't miss any time. I'm operating as if he's a go for Week 6 and bidding accordingly. He ranks as the WR3 in Utilization Score (94), the WR2 in PPR points (23.0/game), and the WR5 in targets per route run (0.30). He also doesn't have his bye until Week 14. Recommended Bid: 45% (Average)
David Montgomery (RB, HOU), 13.33%: I recommended passing on Montgomery last week, and he was healthy. Now, he's hurt and could very well lose whatever remaining edge he had on Woody Marks when he returns. Recommended Bid: None
Kenneth Walker (RB, KC), 12.22%: Walker is my favorite bid out of all players this week wherever he is available. He's healthy and his bye week is now behind him, and through the Chiefs' first four games, he's averaged 21.5 rush attempts (RB2), 4.0 targets (RB9), and 27.5 PPR points (RB2) on 75% of the snaps per game. He's a true workhorse and has week-winning upside on his own. Recommended Bid: 60-65% (above average bid [37.5%], but below aggressive [75%])
Highly Chopped Players To Bid On In Guillotine Leagues™ For Week 6 (Of Top-10 Most Chopped Players)
Tee Higgins (WR, CIN), 15.11% chopped: Higgins was hurt coming into Week 5, and it was reported that he would be limited and play "the most important snaps", but his role on Sunday signaled that he was healthier than the team led on. He ran 82% of the routes (27 to Ja'Marr Chase's 32), which is in line with his route share in Weeks 1-2, but a bit behind his 95% route share in Week 4. All that to say, that's why he's in this section and not the injury-specific one above. What got him chopped was his lack of involvement, drawing only 4 targets (13%) and a 37 Utilization Score. I'm chalking this up to a blip on the radar that could have been slightly impacted by injury, and am trusting him to look like himself in Week 6. Recommended Bid: 17.5% (Average)
Jonathan Taylor (RB, IND), 11.68%: From a role perspective, nothing really changed in Week 5. Taylor still played 51 snaps (74%) in a game where the Colts were trailing for the majority. He gets the Titans in Week 6, an opponent he has scored 30 or more PPR points against in each of their last three meetings. His floor feels lower this season than it did when Daniel Jones was healthy and mobile before his injury last season; Taylor still profiles as a mid-range RB1. Recommended Bid: 27.5% (Average)
Other players to bid on in Week 6: Dak Prescott (QB, DAL, 12.13% chopped), Chris Olave (WR, NO, 11.35%), Tetairoa McMillan (WR, CAR, 11.06%), Ashton Jeanty (RB, LV, 10.68%), Chuba Hubbard (RB, CAR, 10.48%)
Players To Avoid Bidding On In Week 6 Guillotine Leagues™
Carnell Tate (WR, TEN), 13.66% chopped: We saw the ceiling (21.5 points in Week 4 on a 93 Utilization Score) and immediately following it, we saw the floor (1.6 points on a 30 Utilization Score). Sure, it was against Derek Stingley Jr. and the Texans, but that's a secondary that's also gotten shredded to start the season. I'm totally fine passing on anyone in a Cam Ward-led offense when we're supposed to be raising the floor of our Guillotine Leagues™ teams.
Chase Brown (RB, CIN), 11.64%: I came into this season feeling like Brown was one of the safer running backs in the second round, and Week 5 officially has me spooked. He posted season-low marks in snaps (60%), rush attempt share (46%), and Utilization Score (63). On the flip side, Samaje Perine posted season-high marks in snaps (51%), rush attempt share (50%), and Utilization Score (65). Because we want to solidify floor, it's hard to recommend bidding on a player whose role could be undergoing a seismic shift. We just have to wait and see here.
Other players to avoid bidding on in Week 6: Quinshon Judkins (RB, CLE, 10.64%), Dalton Kincaid (TE, BUF, 10.43%), Saquon Barkley (RB, PHI, 10.02%), Omarion Hampton (RB, LAC, 10.02%)
