Second Round Pick-By-Pick NFL Mock Draft
2.33 49ers - Denzel Boston (WR, Washington)
WR6 in our Rookie Super Model, Denzel Boston would thrive with the San Francisco 49ers, using his size to punish any single coverage he would receive.
2.34 Cardinals - Chase Bisontis (OG, Texas A&M)
After using their first pick on Jeremiyah Love, the Arizona Cardinals turn their sights toward their offensive line, drafting Chase Bisontis to help open up running lanes for the star running back.
2.35 Bills - CJ Allen (LB, Georgia)
With Boston off the board, the Buffalo Bills address the other side of the ball by selecting CJ Allen, giving them a violent presence in the middle of their front seven.
2.36 Raiders - Kayden McDonald (DT, Ohio State)
With the next tier of WRs a reach at 2.36, the Las Vegas Raiders attempt to bolster their defensive line, drafting Kayden McDonald to anchor the trenches.
2.37 Giants - Emmanuel McNeil-Warren (S, Toledo)
A fringe first round player, Emmanuel McNeil-Warren’s fall is the New York Giants' gain, giving them a ball hawk on the back end.
2.38 Texans - Christen Miller (DT, Georgia)
While I debated slotting Emmanuel Pregnon here, he still doesn’t fit the range at 2.38, forcing the Houston Texans to select Christen Miller, who would wreak havoc in the middle of a dominant defensive line.
2.39 Browns - Zion Young (EDGE, Missouri)
Whether the Cleveland Browns actually decide to trade Myles Garrett or not, they still need to add depth at the position, making Zion Young the selection at 2.39.
2.40 Chiefs - Chris Bell (WR, Louisville)
With Travis Kelce nearing retirement, the Kansas City Chiefs select Chris Bell to help avoid regression, giving them another efficient pass catcher for Patrick Mahomes' disposal.
2.41 Bengals - T.J. Parker (EDGE, Clemson)
After trading their first-round pick for Dexter Lawrence, the Cincinnati Bengals continue to address their defensive line, selecting T.J. Parker to help inject some life into their pass rush.
2.42 Saints - Jermod McCoy (CB, Tennessee)
With the New Orleans Saints needing to patch their secondary, Jermod McCoy’s slide stops at 2.42, potentially giving them a lockdown CB if he can round back into form after a season-ending injury.
2.43 Dolphins - Emmanuel Pregnon (OG, Oregon)
With the Miami Dolphins sights clearly on 2027, they will use their 2.43 on another offensive lineman in hopes of protecting QB Malik Willis, drafting Emmanuel Pregnon to protect their interior.
2.44 Jets - Jacob Rodriguez (LB, Texas Tech)
Joining David Bailey is Jacob Rodriguez, bolstering the Jets' front seven to help turn around a defense that ranked near dead last in Def DVOA.
2.45 Ravens - Colton Hood (CB, Tennessee)
With Colton Hood falling into Round 2, the rich get richer, giving the Baltimore Ravens a crafty defender capable of neutralizing one side of the field.
2.46 Buccaneers - Brandon Cisse (CB, South Carolina)
Another fringe first-round talent per our Big Board, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers keep their attention on their defense, selecting Brandon Cisse to patch their glaring need at CB.
2.47 Colts - Gabe Jacas (EDGE, Illinois)
Even though Gabe Jacas still has some work to do in regard to stopping the run, it’s hard to ignore how well he creates pressure in the backfield, giving the Indianapolis Colts an intriguing prospect.
2.48 Falcons - Avieon Terrell (CB, Clemson)
With the Atlanta Falcons in desperate need of patching their secondary, they elect to draft Avieon Terrell, a fringe first-rounder who oozes talent with a ways to go in his development. He's also the younger brother of Falcons CB A.J. Terrell.
2.49 Vikings - A.J. Haulcy (S, LSU)
After zigging when everyone zagged by mocking a S to the Minnesota Vikings in the first-round, they address the position at 2.49, drafting A.J. Haulcy who seeks out contact with every snap.
2.50 Lions - Cashius Howell (EDGE, Texas A&M)
With Cashius Howell still on the board, Aidan Hutchinson finally gets the support he needs to help the Detroit Lions generate pressure in the backfield.
2.51 Panthers - Lee Hunter (DT, Texas Tech)
After targeting their OL in the first-round, the Carolina Panthers turn their sights towards their DL, drafting Lee Hunter who excels at using his massive frame to slow down the run.
2.52 Packers - D’Angelo Ponds (CB, Indiana)
Held back by his small frame, D’Angelo Ponds makes up for it with his physicality and speed, never leaving his assignment's hip to contest balls at the point of contact.
2.53 Steelers - Chris Brazzell (WR, Tennessee)
After losing out on Makai Lemon, the Pittsburgh Steelers target the position at 2.53, selecting Chris Brazzell to give Aaron Rodgers another downfield threat to pair along with DK Metcalf.
2.54 Eagles - R Mason Thomas (EDGE, Oklahoma)
A high-motor EDGE, R Mason Thomas would continue to live in backfields, exploiting the single block assignments he would receive while Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis disrupt the middle.
2.55 Chargers - Treydan Stukes (CB, Arizona)
With no need fitting this range, the Los Angeles Chargers may elect to trade out of this spot. For now, I will slot Treydan Stukes at 2.55, giving them depth at a thin position.
2.56 Jaguars - Anthony Hill (LB, Texas)
If Anthony Hill can work on his lateral quickness to help in coverage, then the Jacksonville Jaguars may find themselves a gem with the Texas LB excelling at stopping the run.
2.57 Bears - Germie Bernard (WR, Alabama)
After trading away DJ Moore, the Chicago Bears select Germie Bernard, who would instantly compete with Rome Odunze and Luther Burden for targets.
2.58 49ers - Gennings Dunker (OG, Iowa)
After ranking well below league average in Pass Block Set Grade at the position, the 49ers address their need at OG by drafting Gennings Dunker who is as explosive as he is violent.
2.59 Texans - Jake Golday (LB, Cincinnati)
A speedster with the build of a TE, Jake Golday would give the Texans a coverage LB who can be slotted at various positions within their front seven.
2.60 Bears - Derrick Moore (EDGE, Michigan)
With the Bears defensive line in need of another productive pass rusher, Derrick Moore is the play at 2.60, giving them a high-motored rusher on the outside.
2.61 Rams - Zachariah Branch (WR, Georgia)
With Puka Nacua and Davante Adams commanding defensive attention, Zachariah Branch would thrive in the slot, giving Matthew Stafford another weapon to help make a run at the Super Bowl.
2.62 Broncos - Eli Stowers (TE, Vanderbilt)
Pairing Eli Stowers with Evan Engram would give Bo Nix two talented pass-catching TEs, pulling corners into the box to help free up more space for his WRs on the outside.
2.63 Patriots - Antonio Williams (WR, Clemson)
Even after acquiring Romeo Doubs, the New England Patriots select Antonio Williams, a slot WR to give them some versatility on offense.
2.64 Seahawks - Keionte Scott (CB, Miami)
With Tariq Woolen gone, the Seattle Seahawks find his replacement in Keionte Scott, a hard nosed CB with a knack for violence.
