Players To Watch On Day 3 Of The NFL Draft: Mike Washington Jr., Elijah Sarratt and More
Jonathan Fuller highlights four players to watch during Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft.
We've reached Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft and while there were a handful of surprises on Thursday, it's not a hot take to say that we got even more surprises last night, with only one Day 2 running back off the board.
Heading into Rounds 4 through 7 today, let's highlight four players from the best players available for Day 3 of the NFL Draft that you should be paying attention to.
Best Players Available For Day 3: Four Players To Watch
Mike Washington Jr. | RB
Mike Washington was considered one of the biggest risers of the pre-draft process after absolutely crushing the NFL Combine. It was unclear how the NFL would value his unique prospect profile after switching from WR to RB and having more of a WR body type. Washington was the RB3 on the NFL Draft Big Board and was widely expected to be a Day 2 pick.
The Texans, Titans, Bears and Lions would all be intriguing fits that could use another dynamic playmaker to complement their current lead back. As long as he doesn't fall too far on Day 3, he will still be a fun pick in dynasty rookie drafts.
Elijah Sarratt | WR
Sarratt was essentially a 1B behind Omar Cooper Jr. in the Indiana passing offense last season, so it is something of a surprise to see him still on the board heading into Day 3 after Cooper was selected late in the first round. Sarratt was a top-10 WR in the Rookie Super Model and 12th on the Fantasy Life Big Board. There are now 17 WRs (and counting) that have been selected ahead of him, so this can definitely be viewed as a slide.
The obvious prediction is to connect Sarratt with the Raiders and Fernando Mendoza with their early fourth-round pick. Las Vegas has not added any pass catchers in this draft, and they desperately need help at the WR position, so it is logical to think they will at least consider adding a familiar face for the rookie signal caller.
Skyler Bell | WR
I ranked Skyler Bell 10th in my pre-draft rookie WR rankings, and I stand by it because of his phenomenal production in 2025 and strong showing at the NFL Combine. I'm not too surprised to see him still available going into Day 3, but I think he should hear his name called fairly early today and will be a good value for whichever team selects him.
The Bills, Raiders and Bengals all stand out to me as teams with early picks tomorrow that would benefit from Bell's relatively polished skill set and ability to contribute right away.
Bryce Lance | WR
Another electric athlete who tore up the NFL Combine, Bryce Lance, should be a priority pick on Day 3 of the NFL Draft because of his rare combination of size and speed. He may not be ready to play a significant role in 2026, but he can still serve as a field stretcher while refining the rest of his game. Selfishly, I would like to see him land with a team like Cincinnati or Dallas, where he could develop for the long-term while still providing splash-play potential for an explosive passing offense as soon as this year.
