Titans vs Giants Odds, Picks, Predictions, and Player Props for Week 3
Justin Carlucci breaks down the Titans vs Giants Week 3 matchup from a betting perspective, including picks, predictions, and a player prop.
The Titans head to MetLife for a game that became a lot more complicated after Jaxson Dart went down on Monday night. The Giants are expected to turn to Jameis Winston, while Tennessee is still searching for its first win after showing some real signs of life in a close loss to Philadelphia.
Tennessee Titans vs. New York Giants Betting Odds for Week 3
Spread: Giants -2.5 (-118)
Moneyline: Giants -130; Titans +110
Game Total: Over 38.5 (-108), Under 38.5 (-112)
The air was taken out of the Giants’ locker room when Dart got hurt against the Rams. The sophomore quarterback is expected to miss the rest of the 2026 season after the knee injury, which is just brutal for a player who has already spent plenty of time in the blue tent early in his career.
Not every injury is his fault, obviously, but when the knee injury arrives after all of that, it is just terrible luck.
The larger concern is that New York has a young core with plenty of talent but plenty of injury questions. Malik Nabers is coming off a season-ending injury from last year and has already dealt with other issues this season. Cam Skattebo brings a lot to the offense when healthy, but availability has always been part of the conversation.
On paper, the Giants can be exciting. In reality, it is starting to give Philadelphia 76ers vibes for those basketball fans: a lot of young talent, but health always hanging over everything.
Winston looked terrible in relief against the Rams, but I would expect a better version with a full week of reps with the first team. We know the range of outcomes with Winston is wide. It could look really good, or it could get ugly quickly.
Prediction & Pick for Titans vs. Giants Week 3 Matchup
The Pick: Titans +2.5 (-102)
Tennessee might end up being a public underdog, which is weird to say after what happened in Week 1. The Titans got dominated by the Jets, then came back and pushed Philadelphia to the final seconds in Week 2 before Jalen Hurts threw a game-winning touchdown.
That was a much better effort.
The Titans have still been dominated in time of possession through two games, and that is a major concern. Opponents have been able to put together long, methodical drives, especially in Week 1. But Tennessee hasn’t been getting crushed by explosive plays.
The Titans have allowed explosive runs—runs of at least 10 yards—at the lowest rate in football, just 4.5%. They have also allowed plenty of easy completions, but they have surrendered the fewest yards after catch per reception in the league.
However, the defense has been on the field far too often. But Robert Saleh deserves credit for the adjustments he made after halftime against Philadelphia. The defense looked much better, created a couple of takeaways, and gave Tennessee a real chance to win.
The offensive side needs to keep improving.
Cam Ward made some impressive throws against the Eagles, but he still has to clean up his internal clock and stop leaving clean pockets too early. Tennessee’s pass protection has been much better than expected through two weeks, so Ward needs to trust it and take advantage when he has time.
The Titans ran the ball much better last week too. If they can keep doing that, take care of the football, and create a couple of explosive plays, I think they are more than capable of winning this game outright.
Tennessee should sell out to stop the run, force Winston to drop back, and live with the variance. The Titans held Philadelphia’s runners to fewer than three yards per carry last week, even with a talented Eagles front and offensive line.
Give me Titans +2.5, and I would take +3 if you can find it.
Best Player Prop Bet for Titans vs. Giants
Isaiah Likely 5+ Receptions (+132)
Isaiah Likely is a name I am watching in the player props market for this game.
Likely was featured in the slot quite a bit, and after Dart went out, his target share remained high and similar to the rate he saw with Dart on the field. The Winston sample was limited, but it was still encouraging to see Likely draw targets immediately.
If Tennessee sells out to stop Skattebo and makes Winston beat them, I think Likely could see a lot of short and intermediate work over the middle.
Saleh seems OK with giving up yards, not points, as he’s noted in the past. I don’t necessarily agree with that approach, but hey, it works for our betting purposes!
Winston is not afraid to let it rip, and he should have chances against a Tennessee secondary that has been uneven. But Likely could also be the safety valve if the Titans take away the run and force New York into a more methodical passing game.
As far as the Titans’ secondary, Alontae Taylor has struggled to start the year, while Cor’Dale Flott missed last week against Philadelphia, so his status is worth monitoring as well. At 5+ receptions, Likely is the prop I will be looking to target.
