Another week of NFL football is nearly in the books. We have just one game left in Week 2, but it should be a good one. The New York Giants will travel to California to take on the Los Angeles Rams in a game that could feature plenty of offense. The total on this game sits at 47.5 points, while the Rams are listed as 6.5-point favorites.

The Giants are coming off an impressive showing in Week 1. Their offense looked great against the Cowboys’ revamped defense, finishing with 28 points and 394 yards. They were first in the entire league in EPA per play, and defensively, they managed to hold an explosive Cowboys’ offense to just 244 yards.

On the other side, the Rams are coming off a disastrous performance vs. the 49ers. Of course, it’s easy to write that off. They were playing on the other side of the world, and due to their questionable travel decisions, they seemed more impacted than San Francisco. This team still has plenty of talent, though they will be without Myles Garrett and possibly Puka Nacua vs. New York.

Jaxson Dart ($9,800 Flex, $14,700 Captain)

Dart looked absolutely tremendous in his first game of the season. He provided his typical damage on the ground, rushing 11 times for 54 yards. His legs give him an outstanding floor for fantasy purposes and should remain a huge part of his skill set moving forward.

The more encouraging part was what he did with his arm. He completed 23 of 29 passes for 230 yards and three scores. He looked poised in the pocket and was willing to take what the defense gave him, and he has a better group of pass catchers than he did at any point during his rookie season.

Dart ultimately finished with 26.6 DraftKings points, making him the fourth-highest-scoring QB of Week 1. He’ll face a stiffer test this week vs. the Rams, but he is catching them at the right time. Garrett is out, Aaron Donald will be limited (if active), and the Rams could still be adjusting to life back in the USA. Dart owns the top median and ceiling marks in our NFL DFS projections for this matchup, making him a very logical pay-up choice.

Davante Adams ($8,800 Flex, $13,200 Captain)

I am operating under the assumption that Nacua is not going to be available for this matchup. He’s been sidelined at practice all week, and the recent reports suggest that Nacua is closer to doubtful than questionable.

As long as that’s the case, Adams becomes close to a must-play. Nacua is one of the biggest target hogs in football. He had a 33% target share in Week 1, and he was at 31% last year. Those targets are going to have to go somewhere, and Adams is the most likely alternative.

Adams only played one game without Nacua last year, and he scored three touchdowns in that contest. He owns the top projections among the non-QBs on this slate, and he has a very reasonable price tag. He should be popular, but I’d rather look to differentiate my lineups elsewhere.

Malik Nabers ($9,000 Flex, $13,500 Captain)

Nabers made his return to the lineup in Week 1 after tearing his ACL last season. He was considered questionable heading into that contest, but that didn’t stop him from racking up a 32% target share. That’s not an anomaly. Nabers has commanded a 30+% target share ever since stepping on an NFL field, and there’s no reason to expect anything different moving forward. Nabers’ production vs. the Cowboys was nothing to write home about (six catches, 69 yards, zero touchdowns), but there should be plenty of better days ahead. He’s underpriced at just $9,000.

Kyren Williams ($9,600 Flex, $14,400 Captain)

There are plenty of places where we can save salary on this slate, so spending up for some of the high-end producers in this contest makes sense. Williams is one of them. The gap between him and Blake Corum was narrow in Week 1, with Williams handling just 41% of the rushing attempts. However, Williams handled most of the short- and long-yardage situations, and he had an 11% target share. Those are the two most-important areas for fantasy scoring, and Williams still has the clear edge there.

The Giants also look like an outstanding matchup for RBs. Javonte Williams had a field day against them last week, and they were 28th in EPA per play defensively. The Rams are also favored by nearly a touchdown, and big favorites tend to produce well at running back.

How To Differentiate Your DraftKings NFL DFS Lineup For Monday Night Football's Showdown Slate

Colby Parkinson ($3,600 Flex, $5,400 Captain)

The Nacua injury opens up a ton of intriguing punt plays with the Rams. You could look at some of the other receivers on the roster, but I’d rather focus on the tight ends. The Rams have run a ton of multi-TE sets dating back to last season, and they could lean on those even heavier if Nacua is out of the lineup.

Parkinson operated as the Rams No. 1 TE in Week 1. He had a 62% route participation, and he led their tight ends with a 75% snap share. He’s ultimately not the biggest receiving threat, but just being on the field is half the battle in DFS. Parkinson should see plenty of snaps in Week 2, which is pretty appealing at just $3,600.

Terrence Ferguson ($1,800 Flex, $2,700 Captain)

With all due respect to Parkinson, this is the Rams’ TE I’m most excited about. Ferguson got tons of love this offseason, though it didn’t result in much production in Week 1. He earned just one target, which he failed to catch.

Still, he had a 45% route participation, so he was on the field for a solid chunk of passing plays. That figure should only go up if Nacua is out of the picture. Ferguson has plenty of talent as a pass catcher, so this feels like a fantastic bounce-back opportunity. He’s way too cheap, and using him allows you to load up the rest of your lineup with basically whoever else you want.
