NFL DFS Tournament (GPP) Plays For Week 3: Back To The Well With Justin Herbert

We are on to Week 3 of the NFL season. There are 13 games for us to break down for this Sunday's slate. We are seeing player pricing climb each week, as we always start the year with softer pricing to make lineup building more enjoyable. With increased pricing, it is key to find spots that we like without breaking the bank in salary.

I'm going to break down the NFL DFS tournament (GPP) plays that I like on this slate. This could be a QB and receiver stack that I like, a sneaky RB in a good spot, or a stand-alone WR/TE. The goal here is to find players that are going to be under 10% owned. Getting different with these players allows you to get to safer and higher-owned pieces across the rest of your lineup. Let's dive into it!

DraftKings and FanDuel NFL DFS Week 3 Tournament (GPP) Plays

Ryan Flournoy - DAL WR ($3,800 DraftKings, $5,100 FanDuel)

Someone who's been on my lists before, whether for value or GPP, I still like Ryan Flournoy at the price we are getting him at. He has a very secure role here for the Cowboys, and Dak has trust in him. In one of these games, we are going to see him get hot and throw a few extra balls when coverage falls his way. We have also seen him get his fair share of red zone looks, hauling in 4 TDs in the second half of the 2025 season. I'm going to keep having Flournoy shares if he stays at this price.

Quinshon Judkins - CLE RB ($5,500 DraftKings, $6,100 FanDuel)

The Browns haven't been able to get much going in the run game to start the season. I like the matchup here against the Panthers to change that, however. Judkins is a super explosive back that, with any open space, will take advantage of it. For him, it's more of a challenge of being a great talent in a not-so-great offense. I like taking shots on him in the easier matchups the Browns are going to get. I think this is one of them. He has also not yet gotten into the end zone this season, so I'd like to think the Browns will make that a priority to get some momentum going for him. He’s also healthily involved in the pass game.

Justin Herbert - LAC QB ($5,800 DraftKings, $7,200 FanDuel) / Ladd McConkey - LAC WR ($5,900 DraftKings, $6,300 FanDuel)

I was surprised to see the ownership as low as it is here on Justin Herbert and Ladd McConkey. They get an up-tempo match against the Bills, who have been a bottom-5 team against the pass.

It's a super high total up around 50, and the Chargers should be playing from behind here. This seems like a very good GPP stack that also doesn't break the bank salary-wise. To note, Ladd only played about 50% of snaps, due to the rib injury that he had coming into Week 2. I expect to see this come back up and for him to get his normal workload again.

Drake Maye - NE QB ($6,100 DraftKings, $7,400 FanDuel), Hunter Henry - NE TE ($3,900 DraftKings, $5,100 FanDuel)

Lastly, let's look at a Patriots stack, who gets a decent matchup here vs. the Jaguars. The Patriots are without A.J. Brown, who's on the IR, which boosts the opportunity for the rest of the receivers. Hunter Henry, a long-time reliable piece for this NE team, showed that increased role, being targeted 5 times in Week 2 following Brown's absence. We know that Henry is also an above-average tight end in the red zone, hauling in a good amount of TDs. Drake Maye has had a really bad start to the season, following an MVP finalist season last year. People are becoming scared off of him, but I like this as a buy-low spot here.

Week 3 gives us some great game environments and good DFS plays that are not coming in super high ownership. I love this slate for GPPs in my first look at it. The spend-up RBs are the chalk, which I don't mind due to their high floors. And there's some great low-owned team stacks that I like to pair with that.
