2026 Fantasy Football Outlook For Jadarian Price
Always the bridesmaid, never the bride, Jadarian Price simply cannot avoid crowded backfields. After spending his collegiate career jockeying with Jeremiyah Love and Audric Estime, Price now joins the likes of Zach Charbonnet, Emanuel Wilson and George Holani when the Seattle Seahawks drafted him at 1.32.
Luckily for Price, he will have a great opportunity to hit the ground running with Charbonnet expected to miss a majority of the regular season while recovering from a torn ACL he sustained in January. Charbonnet played a major role in the Seahawks success on offense last season, ending his 2025-26 campaign rushing for 730 yards and 12 touchdowns while nearly matching Walker in total attempts.
Our fantasy projections believe Price will be able to capitalize on his heavy workload, eclipsing 1,000 yards while punching in 7-8 touchdowns. His current projections have him listed in the top 70 in 0.5 PPR, with Ian Hartitz ranking him as high as 57th.
When digging into his overall production, Dwain McFarland has tempered his expectations on the Notre Dame running back, noting his one-dimensional usage may hold him back from being a viable RB2 in fantasy. Price has shockingly underwhelmed in his efforts of producing through the air, entering the NFL with a Career PFF Receiving Grade of 63.4 (49th percentile).
Price has also struggled to hold his own in pass pro, with a Career PFF Pass Block Grade of 38.5. With Price struggling to carve out a role in the Seahawks' pass attack, he may be held to just early-down work, drastically cutting into his utilization, which brings in a high amount of variance in regard to fantasy.
When given the opportunity to establish the run, Price has been dominant, ranking second in Film Rating per our Rookie Super Model. His production is heavily correlated to his ability to shake off defenders, generating 4.28 yards after contact while leading this year’s class in 10-plus-yard attempts.
When it comes to fantasy, his value all comes down to his ADP at the time of your draft. With so many question marks lingering over the Seahawks' rookie, it’s hard to stomach the idea of using a round 8/9 pick on his upside in redraft leagues. McFarland agrees with that notion, labeling him as overrated until he proves he can be the Seahawks RB1 while Charbonnet is out with an injury.
Speaking of Charbonnet, Price’s usage rate will plummet with the Seahawks expected to immediately deploy their goal-line back upon his return. A dangerous transition late in the year, especially if you are thin at the position.
In regard to dynasty, Price is worth an early pick if you have the depth to combat against any regression that may come later in the year. If you are in desperate need of patching your WR position, then consider taking Makai Lemon or KC Concepcion instead.
