Last-Minute Week 9 Fantasy Football Lineup Advice

Last-Minute Week 9 Fantasy Football Lineup Advice

In today's Fantasy Life Newsletter, presented by UNest.

When the Saints go marching into the Superdome today, they are going to look a lot different.

Consider this …

* Rookie WR Jordan Tyson is BACK. After a long stint on IR to start the season, Tyson was activated yesterday and is expected to play. We’ve been urging managers to prepare for this moment for weeks, but the real question is whether you can actually start him today.

Check out the Fantasy Life projections to see our current forecast—think fringe WR3—but ideally try to wait a week, as he’s likely to be eased in.

* Kendre Miller is gone & Audrice Estime is the next man up. In a bit of a shocker, the Saints released RB Kendre Miller yesterday despite Travis Etienne still nowhere to be found.

Alvin Kamara’s role is unlikely to change much, which means Audric Estime is slotted to inherit the majority of those vacated carries. Saints beat Nick Underhill “picked him up in fantasy”, and the Browns are not a tough matchup vs. opposing RBs.

I’d call Estime a must-stash and a desperation start/FLEX.

* Kelvin Banks returns, too. Not a skill position player, but New Orleans’ star left tackle is back. That means the Saints will have the full starting offensive line on the field.

They might be 2-5, but this could quickly become one of the better passing games in the league …

Buy Jahmyr Gibbs, The Future Is Bright

What a runway for Jahmyr Gibbs to continue an incredible runout to his NFL career. In his first three seasons, his total yards never dipped below 1,261, and twice he’s gone over 1,800 yards. In the last two years, he’s combined for 38 TDs. Oh yeah, he just turned 24. The time for forward-thinking fantasy managers to buy in on Gibbs was right after he was selected 12th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. Now he’s living up to the expectations of being the consensus 1.01. And savvy managers who invested in him are all smiles.

UNest works the same way. You don't wait until your kid is 16 to start building their financial future. You start now, when time is your single greatest advantage. A tax-advantaged investment account that grows with your child, set up in under 10 minutes. The long game is always the smartest play, on the field and off it.
