Brothers and sisters, friends of the revolution … We are now over a month in on “Pregame with Matthew Berry” on Roku and The Roku Channel from noon ET to 2 pm. I keep bringing it up because it’s the most ambitious thing I’ve ever done, and it’s important to me. Important to me and important to Fantasy Life, so if you like me and/or us and want to support what we are doing, I’d love for you to check it out.

It repeats from 3 pm to 5 pm ET and then again from 8 to 10 pm ET. And if you go to Roku or the Roku Channel app on your Non-Roku TV or on a tablet/phone, just search for it in the Sports Zone. And if you have neither a Roku TV nor a Roku Channel app, you can also check it out on www.therokuchannel.roku.com. Go to Browse, then Sports, then scroll to Top Sports on The Roku Channel …

We have a lot of fun every day, and I promise to make you a smarter fantasy player/sports fan and a much dumber person. It’s 100% free to watch. And, of course, many, many clips of the show are available on my YouTube channel.

I also highly, and I mean highly, recommend joining the Fantasy Football Happy Hour Discord, where an amazing group of folks talks fantasy football all day, asking and answering questions along with commenting on my show. It’s a welcoming, smart, and hilarious group, and I can’t tell you how much I enjoy them. I also spend a decent amount of time in the Discord, so it’s definitely the easiest way to get a hold of me if you’re so inclined to do so.

You can get access to everything we have to offer at Fantasy Life with a FantasyLife+ subscription (Code BERRY for 10% off). That means my rankings—completely customized to fit YOUR leagues—projections, league sync, our waiver wire tool, Dwain McFarland's world-renowned Utilization Report (which is presented by Tenex.ai), our start/sit tool, and much, much more.

Final plug: A reminder that every Sunday morning I do Fantasy Football Happy Hour: Last Call at Noon ET with Alex Cupps on my YouTube channel ... come and get your questions answered.

But before you do that, you need to read this. Because these are the …

10 Facts You Need To Know For Week 8 Fantasy Football

  1. In Week 7, Bo Nix scored a season-high 26.2 fantasy points.
    1. 18.3 of those points came on 2 plays.
    2. Literally 70% of his production was on a 62-yard TD run where Nix was untouched, and then a 52-yard screen pass to RJ Harvey, where Harvey gained 60 yards after the catch.
    3. If you want to believe, you do you, but I’m not there yet.

  2. In his first game back from IR, Jonah Coleman led the Broncos backfield in snap rate (50%).
    1. And touches (11).
    2. 21% of his runs have gained 10+ yards.
    3. For the season, Coleman is now averaging 4.9 YPC
    4. RJ Harvey is at 3.6 YPC
    5. J.K. Dobbins is at 3.4.

  3. In the first quarter against the Falcons last week, Kaelon Black had a 53% snap rate.
    1. He also got 7 touches.
    2. He also saw multiple red zone touches for the fifth time in his past 6 games.
    3. With Christian McCaffrey dealing with a mild hamstring strain, Black is a must-add in leagues where he’s still available, even though he’s on a bye this week.

  4. The last time TreVeyon Henderson reached 5 fantasy points in a game was … Week 2.
    1. In the 5 games since, he’s seen just 30% of the Patriots' RB touches.
    2. I mean, there’s still value there as injury insurance for Rhamondre Stevenson, but that’s about it.

  5. Last week was Dylan Sampson’s first game back from IR.
    1. That same week, Quinshon Judkins set season lows in snap rate (51.5%).
    2. And target share (3%).
    3. In the 5 games Judkins played withOUT Sampson this season, Judkins averaged a 13.6% target share.
    4. Judkins will continue to see the majority of touches in this backfield, but with Sampson back in the lineup, Judkins’ role in the passing game takes a significant hit.

  6. In his 5 completed games prior to Week 7 this season, KC Concepcion was averaging an aDOT of 5.3 and 30 air yards.
    1. But in Week 7, KC Concepcion had an aDOT of 11.1 and saw 111 air yards.
    2. He’s seen a target share of at least 20% in every full game he’s played.
    3. If the addition of more deep targets continues, rocket ship emoji.

  7. Since Mike Evans was injured in the second quarter of Week 6, Brock Purdy has attempted 49 passes.
    1. Of those 49 passes, only 15 have gone to WRs.
    2. Let’s hope that Evans and/or Deebo Samuel can return following the 49ers bye, because if not, there’s not a single SF WR worth starting in fantasy.

  8. In the 2 games since Caleb Williams returned, Colston Loveland is averaging a 30% target share.
    1. And 19.2 PPG.
    2. He leads the position in utilization score over that stretch.
    3. He has finished as a top 5 TE in both weeks.

  9. In Week 7, Isaiah Likely saw a season-low 4 targets.
    1. He finished with just 24 air yards.
    2. Since J.J. McCarthy took over as the starter, Likely is averaging a 16% target share.
    3. With Jameis Winston under center, his target share was 30%.

  10. In the 3 games since Mason Taylor returned from injury, he’s run 35 more routes than Kenyon Sadiq.
    1. And in each of the past 2 weeks, Taylor’s seen a target share of at least 20%.
    2. His role still isn’t big enough to make him anything more than a mid-tier TE2, but he’s completely killed the fantasy value of Sadiq.
