Congratulations on surviving the second Guillotine Leagues™ chop of the 2026 season. After a week where a handful of elite players hit the chopping block, the Week 4 waiver wire brings us another crop of high-end assets to consider using your FAAB on.

Before I jump into the Week 4 Guillotine Leagues™ bidding advice regarding the most highly chopped players of the week (10%+), a handful of housekeeping items:

FAAB Bidding Advice For Week 4 In Guillotine Leagues™

Chopped Players Due To Injury

De'Von Achane (RB, MIA, 16.67%): This one is easy, sadly. Achane is out for the season with a torn ACL. You aren't picking him up, but if you survived the chop and lost him along the way, it's important to know what to do if you drafted De'Von Achane.

Justin Jefferson (WR, MIN, 15.95%): A left ankle sprain knocked Jefferson out of Week 3 after he caught his first two targets for 32 yards and looked like he was on his way to a big day. Per Jeff Mueller, his imaging came back clean, and he has a chance to play in Week 4. The QB play doesn't look great with Kyler Murray after one game, but he did connect deep with Jordan Addison for a touchdown and was hyper-focused on Jefferson before his injury. He has a juicy schedule coming up, with Miami on tap for Sunday followed by New Orleans in Week 5. I would place a bid on Jefferson this week, but wouldn't get aggressive unless you feel solid enough about your WRs where you can afford him missing one week. Recommended Bid: 25-30% (above average)

Puka Nacua (WR, LAR, 14.42%): I was far too optimistic last week about Nacua's outlook and have since become a lot more skittish. Reports have been really ambiguous surrounding his injury, with McVay saying his status is simply "to be determined", while Schefter reported two days ago that surgery is not off the table. This might come back to haunt me, but this is a bid I'm fading unless confirmation is reported by Wednesday afternoon that he's playing this week (unlikely). Recommended Bid: None

Nico Collins (WR, HOU, 12.43%): While far from a guarantee, the general sentiment for a Collins return in Week 4 is positive, with the team reported as hopeful. When on the field, Collins is an alpha, evident from his 28% target share (0.27 targets per route run) on 88% of the routes with a 100% end-zone target share. His 21.2 PPR points (WR8 finish) from Week 1 could look minuscule against the Cowboys in Week 4 given how leaky their defense is. Collins is a lower-tier bid than Jefferson, but still one I want. Recommended Bid: 20-25% (average)

Highly-Chopped Players To Bid On In Guillotine Leagues™ For Week 4 (10%+)

Tetairoa McMillan (WR, CAR, 13.23%): Perhaps my favorite bid of the week, McMillan should draw less attention with the presence of other high-end wideouts on the waiver wire and thus, potentially require a less aggressive bid. His 2-catch, 5-target outing was his worst of the season so far, but he had previously logged at least 75 yards in both games with aDOTs of at least 9.4 yards. He also played more snaps (94.9%) than either of his first two games (85.5%, 83.3%). The Panthers offense is leaning heavily into the pass game (68% dropback rate, +10% DBOE), and Jalen Coker may miss time with a hamstring issue. Recommended Bid: 17-20% (average to slightly above average)

Josh Allen (QB, BUF, 12.3%): I'm a conservative player at the quarterback position in Guillotine Leagues™ because of how deep the position is, but this is the crown jewel. Josh Allen is different. His floor looks to be around 19 fantasy points. His ceiling? His back-to-back 35.7 and 40.8-point games in Weeks 1 and 2 show you. He's the end-game player at the quarterback position. If I have a back-end QB1 or worse, I'm going after Allen. Recommended Bid: 32.5% (average) - 40% (slightly above average)

Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR, DET, 11.49%): St. Brown won't be easy to win, but he's the epitome of a perfect wide receiver in Guillotine Leagues. His 9.9 points this week was only the third time he dropped under 10 fantasy points since Week 11 of last season, and he's posted at least 20 fantasy points in 6 of those games, with two being Weeks 1 and 2 this season. He's posted a 91 Utilization Score or higher in every game this season, and with how bad the Lions' defense is, the offense is going to be in more shootouts throughout the season. A high-floor/high-ceiling player in the best fantasy offense in the NFL? Target. Recommended Bid: Above average (35%), but not aggressive (55%) ... I would settle around 40-45%.

I would also bid on: Jaylen Waddle (WR, DEN, 11.87%), Jonathan Taylor (RB, IND, 11.37%), Dalton Kincaid (TE, BUF, 10.94%)

Players I Would Avoid Bidding On In Week 4 Guillotine Leagues™

Drake Maye (QB, NE, 16.07%): Similar sentiment this week ... I am not touching this Patriots offense, and Case Keenum has more touchdown passes than Maye this season.

Jadarian Price (RB, SEA, 13.57%): His snaps are trending in the wrong direction (50% -> 34% *injury -> 27% *fumble), and he's not getting enough work in high-value areas (8% target share, 9% inside-five attempts) to trust as anything more than a fringe RB3 right now. And with Zach Charbonnet's return coming sooner rather than later, he's on a fast track to an ugly role in a headache of a committee.

Omarion Hampton (RB, LAC, 10.98%): Speaking of committees, the Chargers ran a disgusting one in Week 3. Hampton played only 42% of the snaps, with Keaton Mitchell playing 36% and Kimani Vidal 27%. Hampton led in rush attempts (58%), but failed to draw a single target and only ran 16% of the routes. It was also Mitchell, not Hampton, who got the goal-line touchdown. This offense is already difficult to trust in the midst of a difficult schedule. There's no need to bid on an extra headache on top of it.
