QB: Sitting tight with the status quo of Kyler Murray and Jacoby Brissett for another season might be the team's best option given the draft's seemingly lackluster crop of quarterbacks, but that certainly won't make Arizona faithful feel great about their 2026 prospects.

Offensive Line: Paris Johnson joins 2024 third-rounder Isaiah Adams as the only two offensive linemen the Cardinals have taken inside Rounds 1-3 during the last five drafts combined. The Cardinals are also losing three starters from last year's O-line.

Defensive Line: Even if the Cardinals get Walter Nolen back fully healthy after a knee injury ended his 2025 season, more talent needs to be added to a group that struggled to get after the passer (27th in pressure rate) and stop the run (ninth-most yards per carry allowed) last season.

Secondary: One easy solution would be to use some level of high-end resources on the group through the draft. After all, general manager Les Snead has drafted just *one* defensive back in Rounds 1-3 during the last five drafts combined.

Quarterback: Alabama QB Ty Simpson feels like the most likely candidate to earn mid-round draft capital — something the Rams suddenly have thanks to acquiring the Falcons first-round pick last April.

Offensive Tackle: More high-end resources would be nice. The Rams have drafted just two offensive linemen in Rounds 1-3 during these last five drafts combined—tied for the third fewest in the NFL.

Wide Receiver: Brandon Aiyuk has played his last snap as a 49er, while Jauan Jennings and Kendrick Bourne may be leaving via free agency. Ricky Pearsall has been healthy enough to suit up for only 20 of 34 regular-season games over the past two seasons. Throw in the potential for George Kittle to not be operating at 100% coming off his Achilles tear, and more high-end pass-catching talent NEEDS to be added here.

Secondary: San Francisco boasts the league's eighth-cheapest safety room and seventh least-expensive crop of corners entering 2026. It'll be especially important to find superior talent in the secondary with defensive coordinator Robert Saleh out of the picture.

Secondary: Each of their only three free agents to play at least 70% of the team's snaps last season in the secondary — Coby Bryant, Josh Jobe and Tariq Woolen — are unrestricted free agents. Simply bringing back all parties involved might just do the trick.

Wide Receiver: The Seahawks are one of just nine teams with a pass-catcher budget under $30 million for next season when also factoring tight ends into the equation. Getting more out of this group behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be paramount to keeping the good version of Sam Darnold around for as long as possible.

Interior Offensive Line: If we've learned anything about Darnold over the years, it's that interior pressure can turn him back into a pumpkin quicker than anything. Getting stronger up the middle should be a yearly priority.
