FanDuel NFL DFS Plays For Week 4's Main Slate: Build Around Parker Washington & Jeremiyah Love

Joe Metz breaks down who he is targeting on the FanDuel NFL DFS main slate for Week 4.

The Sunday slate is upon us, and we have a lot of moving parts to pay attention to. The Week 4 injury report and coachspeak are worth parsing through before building your lineups, and there will likely be more coming before lock, with a handful of pivotal Q tags.

Each week, I will provide you with my core plays (3) that I am building my single-entry lineup around, as well as my favorite value play (with some honorable mentions) and my favorite lower-owned play for single-entry or small-field, 3-5-max contests (again, with a handful of honorable mentions).

Five plays to build around and a small list of others to include in your player pool. Let's get into it.

Core Plays For The FanDuel NFL DFS Week 4 Slate

Brock Bowers | TE | Raiders ($7,200)

I don't find myself paying all the way up for tight end often on FanDuel, but Brock Bowers feels like a set-it-and-forget-it option on Sunday. Priced as the TE2, he provides a $200 savings on Trey McBride and posted a perfect 100 Utilization Score in Week 3 (92% routes, 41% targets, 0.34 TPRR, 40% air yards, 25.6 FDP). The game against the Chiefs carries a healthy 48.5-point total, and Kansas City has allowed a +2.1-point fantasy boost to the tight end position through the first three weeks of the season (9th-highest). He gives you WR1 production at the TE position and feels like the strongest cash/single-entry option on the board at the position.

Parker Washington | WR | Jaguars ($7,100)

Ranked as a top-10 wide receiver in our fantasy football rankings by expert consensus, Parker Washington brings elite usage and upside at a suppressed price on FanDuel, one that hasn't changed since Week 2. Washington ranks as the WR5 on the season in target share (30%) and has drawn 44% of the Jaguars' total air yards. The Jaguars haven't been forced into many competitive game scripts so far this year, resulting in lower target totals (6, 12, 5) for Washington, but Sunday is shaping up to be a back-and-forth affair against the Bengals with an implied game total north of 50 points. His price is low enough to protect us if he has to rely more on efficiency than volume, but the matchup provides massive upside to smash the price tag. He'll be chalky, but he's the first click in my main lineup today.

Jeremiyah Love | RB | Cardinals ($6,600)

We finally saw the Jeremiyah Love mini-breakout in Week 3, and the utilization was beautiful. He posted a 91 Utilization Score on the back of 78% of the rush attempts with a 41% route rate, 11% target share, and 19.4 FDP—good for a top-five finish on the slate. His price this week? RB17. Even with value options below him at the position, this one is too difficult to pass up given the bullish underlying data we're seeing regarding the progression of his role, and this is a rare game where the Cardinals could be operating with positive game script throughout the afternoon. Load up.

Value Play For Week 4 NFL DFS On FanDuel

Braelon Allen | RB | Jets ($5,700)

If you're dipping down below Love and Aaron Jones on FanDuel, Braelon Allen feels like the wisest click. Breece Hall has been ruled out for Week 4, and while Isaiah Davis could step in and steal some pass-down work, he still has yet to take a single snap this season, so there's also a chance we see Allen in a full workhorse role. Dwain noted in his Week 4 Utilization Report that Allen saw 100% of the snaps and attempts as well as a 62% route share on the last two drives of the Week 3 contest after Hall exited, including all 8 snaps in the two-minute offense. In a matchup against an unimposing Chicago defense, Allen brings an elevated floor and ceiling for his price to target in all formats.

Other value plays to build around: C.J. Stroud (QB, HOU, $7,000), Jordan Addison (WR, MIN, $6,500), Aaron Jones (RB, MIN, $6,400), Matthew Golden (WR, GB, $6,300), Michael Wilson (WR, ARI, $6,200), Emanuel Wilson (RB, SEA, $5,600)

FanDuel NFL DFS Low-Owned Player To Target

Luther Burden | WR | Bears ($5,800)

It's been a painful start to the season for Luther Burden backers, myself included, but we saw signs of life in Week 3 with Case Keenum at the helm. Burden led the team in target share (33%; 11), TPRR (0.41), and Utilization Score (82). Even with Tyson Bagent potentially taking over the interim QB1 role this week, Burden's stock is pointing up as the WR the backup QBs will rely on in the short and intermediate parts of the field. His projected ownership is low, with a number of great plays in the 6K range, and that's something I want to take advantage of with all of his underlying metrics pointing in the right direction over the last couple of weeks.

More low-owned players to target on FanDuel: Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR, SEA, $9,500), George Pickens (WR, DAL, $7,900), D'Andre Swift (RB, CHI, $7,300), Bhayshul Tuten (RB, JAX, $6,800), Dontayvion Wicks (WR, PHI, $5,900),
